Question about "clans"

Hi. I was just wondering what a clan was? :confused:

In my history class, I learnt about how a clan is a tribal family or group. That is really cool! :) though I don't know why they exist in Jazz 2? Does it mean someone is barbaric if they asre in a clan? Should I avoid 'GpW', 'CC', 'DM' etc?

You know, thats about the funniest thing I've heard today. Really, you just made my day a good one, after I was *censored* %$£%$£^$&^^%* *censored* towards our school's IT technicians that love to filter and ban every single useful site on the internet! They even banned search engines!

Anyways, a clan is not a barbaric bunch of people, I doubt it was so in history aswell, because your 'tribes' aren't always barbaric. Scottish clans exist until today even, and I wouldn't call the scots barbaric in today's life. Actually, thats the first definition of clan on www.dictionary.com

Back to your question, clans are just a bunch of people playing computer games who have decided to ally to increase their gaming experience. A lot of people prefer team games over the normal game types, and the best way to play them is in a clan. Clans allow you to practice and play as a team, and loads of professional gaming tournaments are for clans. Jazz2 don't have any clan tournaments yet, but we still enjoy arranging matches between each other for great fun :D

Oh, before I forget, you should still look carefully into joining a clan if you consider it, because some of them can be as barbaric as you think ;)

Avoiding people from clans is pointless, most of us are not barbarians like you think. :)

A clan is just a group of people who play as a team in one game with their own rules, morals and leader(s).

Now that I know what 1 is, do any of u guys know witch ones are good? Any I can join? Is there a best between CC GpW and DDL, others like them?

Actually, I can honestly tell you the following things:
-GpW died about a month ago.
-DLL is known to have weird ideas/plans (Jazz domination etc).
-So of those three CC is probably the best choice.

However, I can tell you that there also are other clans. So pick the one that fits best to you!

Oh yes, most clans require a lot of skill to join. So be sure to practise a lot before you join one. <s>So you won't get as pathetic as I am</s>

GpW died a bit ago. It was hard to get in if you hadn't played for at least a year.

DDL* was/is bent on changing and/or destroying Jazz.

As Newspaz said, CC is likely the best choice amoung those.

Back to topic. Clans are actually kinda useless in JJ2, altough it's fun to be in one. Ofcourse, when you like team games, clans could have a little use, but you can also just form a team with soem random players. So you don't really <i>have</i> to join one.

The real meaning of a clan is a tribe, group, or mainly family. If you think all clans are barbaric, you will offend many people.

Anyway, JJ2 clans are mainly just so you can brag about it. Also, it's nice for meeting new people, I guess, but we mainly know each other already. Also, sometimes, clans have team wars on JJ2, like Team Battle or CTF, just for fun. Usually, clans have tests to get in, but some don't. There are a few considered "the best", but they're usually the most known. There's really no official way to rate a clan.
