Sad but true, I'm new to Jazz 2 and this forum! I played the original and have fallen in love with this one! Erm... I... Dont have the registered verison... Just the shareware :o... Can I play against non-sharewares? I know I cant play against TSF... Look! :lol: BUNNIES! JAZZ! Download it use
"Tools" "Version editor" Change the version and you might be able to join Servers but i dont think it will work you can always try

Im alread yat verison 1.23 I have hosted a game, ppl have come too so i assume I can join a sharewaremap CTF game... Will user maps work with shareware?

Hi. You should be able to join shareware games, and host and have anyone join. But then, you already knew that.

But anyway, yeah yeah, SW people can join and start SW servers, and full version people can join SW servers. There are some ways you can manipulate playing maps online, though, with SW people. Probably aren't suppose to tell you this, but I'm pretty sure if you downloaded a custom level and saved it over the Battle1 or Diamondus Warzone or whatever level that you can play it on SW...but you're not supposed to know that. So nyah.

Now...get the full version. It's much more enjoyably stimulative.

Welcome aboard, Faerin. Glad to have ye around.

As a shareware user, you techincally can't join full version servers. Full version folk can join your servers, though. I think there was a patch for both shareware and full versions to the most recent version of JJ2 (1.23... 1.24 was the expansion pack... kinda sorta. Long story), but I'm not sure where it'd be now.

There ARE ways you can force the shareware version to play full version levels, of course. Also of course, I'm not going into detail about 'em. Legal issues and all. Sorry. :-)

Well, actually, he has a stash of 1.24 games. 1.24 Is also known as "The secret files" add on. You will not be able to join 1.23 games (which most people on this forum use) games.

Stil! That program doesn't work with shareware! Only with 1.23 and TSF, both FULL.
