One thing I am still confused about with hosting a server is the levels. Now, I have plenty of levels in the cache - maybe too many. How can I use those levels when hosting? How can you change the map you're playing on without taking down the server and setting it all up again? Any levels that I've downloaded, where are they saved and where do I need to put them so I can host them on a server?

Just basically tell me how to do this. I'm not sure. I already know I can host though. I've done it before. I just know I have more interesting levels to host than the ones that came with the game, but they don't appear to be there to choose from when I want to host a server. Help!

In order to host these levels, simply copy them out of your cache (usually C:\Games\Jazz2\Cache) and into your Jazz 2 folder (usually C:\Games\Jazz2). Be sure to copy the tileset along with the level.

Go into (previous folders)/Jazz2/Cache, copy any levels you want to host from there (including their tilesets, if you don't have those tilesets in your main JJ2 folder), and paste them into your main JJ2 folder.

Other then just letting the roast limit/point limit/gem limit be reached, you might want to try Project Controller (http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads/moreinfo.php?levelid=1334).

They go to whichever folder you select to put them in, probably C:\Windows\Temp, and you need to unzip the .zip files and extract the levels into your main JJ2 folder.

If you mean changing the level hosted from Battle1, Capture1, and Treasure1 (I think that was the filename), the thing showing the level is actually a textbox. Select it with enter, and type in the filename (.j2l not necessary) of the level you want to host.
