1) I'd like to address the most common problem with this board, spam. Mostly I believe that the 'I Like Pie' topics are spam, especially since everytime is very closely related! There are other spam topics, but why can't these topic be closed.

2) I'd also like to address, topic moves. Mainly, this problem occurs with Miscellaneous Stuff 'n' Comedy Cafe. I have seen topics that even in their entirety are not funny, and are more of Miscellaneous. I have also seen topics that aren't funny, but are a honest attempt at being funny, these topics belong in Comedy Cafe.

Read certain topics carefully, now tell me is it really comedy or miscellaneous?

Most of these topics are, in fact, closed. I have not seen one in a few weeks that was not closed soon after posting. Some of the semi-serious ones posted in Misc. float by and quickly go to the Land of Forgotten Topics quickly, but the ones in Comedy Cafe are usually closed quickly.

The line between comedy and "other" is often very easy to blur. But I think that the moderators are doing a good job with this. After all, there's no way to stop people from posting senseless topics. We have a crazy community which tends to produce discussions which are not always the most serious ones. However, I agree that the "Yes/No/I like pie" polls are stretching the line between Misc and Comedy. After all, some people find such spam funny, and others find it very, well, miscellaneous. It's a matter of opinion really.

Trafton is mostly right. We tolerate some comedy topics in Misc because Misc has always been like that and should be.

Misc and Comedy are for the time, only going with spam.
There's only a few topics that isen't spam (like "the skycar" ect.), while "Evil", or "Guess the next poster game" dosen't really have a point, maybe evil due its roleplay imo.

We're thinking of moving all association/poster topics to comedy café.

I think the main thing about the posting funny stuff in miscellaneous, and the reason:p,is that things just AREN'T funny when you know they are THERE to be funny!:)
Serious, when you know you click there and will read a joke or something then,´there's no fun at all!
Fun is only if there's a gag where jýou don't expect it!^_^

Haha,see?
