Does the game run perfectly otherwise?

Is it the entire bar at the bottom or just part(s) of it?

(Next time please use a more descriptive subject)

Yes the game runs perfect apart from the statas bar. The statas bar does not work at all. None of it works.

Well when I try to run JJ1 on Windows XP, something like this happens.

What OS are you using?
What computer speed? Video card?

Try minimizing with alt+tab, fiddling with the graphics options, etc.

I'm using Windows 98. Reinsalling wont help because holiday hare and the demos inventorys don't work either. So its probably my computer not the game. Lets see I have a geforce 3D graphics card I think, um I yeah I'd say thats it. Ask my dad if you want to know exacly! I didn't buy the computer. :)

Well Windows 98 really should work. I had windows 98 for years, and JJ1 ran perfectly.

Have you tried running it in MS-DOS mode? (When booting the computer, press F8 to get to the menu and select "Command Prompt Only")

I already said not to suggest booting in MS-Dos mode. And I already said reinstalling will not help. It could be to do with my graphics card.

What do you mean booting in MS-DOS mode doesn't work? Please clarify. Do you mean that you can't get into MS-DOS mode, or JJ1 won't run in MS-DOS mode, or that you get the exact same problem in MS-DOS mode?

If you get the same problem in MS-DOS mode, then there may be a hardware or display incompatibility. What are your exact system specs? (Video card, processor speed, monitor, memory, processor type [AMD or Intel], etc.) I can't really ask your dad, so you need to ask him and relay the information to here.

When I boot in MS-Dos mode and run Jazz I get the same problem. I'll check the exact details and get back to you on them. :-)

I used to get this problem. Please try repeatedly alt+tab while in windows. It may very well get rid of it. ;)

If you're not going to contribute anything to the subject, you really shouldn't bother posting. ;)
