Have there been any attempts to buy Jazzjackrabbit.com? After all, I think having that web page would be a good thing for the community. We could redirect players to Jazz2online.com or a similar web site where they could download the patches and play Jazz 2 online. At least, I think they should update it not that the Jazz Jackrabbit Game Boy Advance game is coming, but it appears to be dead still. I've tried emailing the webmaster to no avail. I was wondering what the other JCF members thought about this.

Buying a domain soley to redirect sounds like a waste to me. Although, that's probabaly the only thing we could do with it. I'm kinda doubting we'd be able to buy Jazzjackrabbit.com from Epic. Then, as far as they're concerned, Unreal is the only thing for them that could make money, so maybe...

You can't buy the domain name as long as Epic keeps reclaiming it. And asking them probably won't help. Since I don't think they want to lose it as long as they think they'll be able to get money out of Jazz.

Well we were talking about this in the 1.25 forum a while ago, and I actually had a letter composed to mail to Epic. However, on the day that I was going to mail it, JJGBA was announced and we thought that it probably wouldn't work because the publishers of the new game would want it, and Epic would be more willing to give it to them than to us.
