i went into a computer store in the city over here in melbourne australia and picked up Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Holiday Hare for $20 ... i got home to find that it only had 5 levels and i beat them within an hour or less.
I had expected the pack to include all the missions and thought i was buying an actual update to jazz2 (which i don't have anyway :()
ANyhow, i'm interested to know what an approximate cost of Jazz2 actually is these days? and have i been ripped off? ... especially considering that epic seems to have completely forgotten about this fun title.
and thx for any responses btw.

No, you haven't been ripped off. I bought the same thing for $20 from my local BigW (although I knew exactly what it came with). I can't think of any shops in Aust. that sell JJ2 now - haven't seen the full retail on shelves since it came out (late 1998) to late February 1999. You can try and get the shops to order it in, order from overseas (check J2O newsposts - there's a link to an online shop that has/had 7 copies of JJ2 left), get it 2nd hand from game shop etc.
you could also try contacting Aiko and see if he has any copies of JJ2 left (doubtful, however).

Heh, i bought HH98 for 60 US Dollars. Believe it or not.
Those american freaks wanted about 30 USD only for the overseas shipping.
My CC99 was bought in the NL and i paid about 15 EUR for it.
Of course, it's too expensive for a few levels. Otherwise, if you had read some of our threads here, you would have known better. Personally, i didn't buy it for the playing fun, but as a collectors item.
P.S.:
A copy of the polish TSF distribution (which includes all levels and episodes from regular JJ2) can be ordered for 4,90 EUR in german onlinestores (Dollar-Euro-conversion rate is about 1:1 these days). The regular JJ2 isn't in stores anymore in Europe.

I bought HH98 for one dollar per new level - or five.
This site (http://www.cdaccess.com/html/quick/jazzjackpr.htm) has ONE copy of JJ2 left, so if you're quick, you can get it there.

"Fair" prices for JJ2 range from $15 to $20, excluding shipping prices. A nominal price range for JJ2-HH98 is $5 to $10, whilst JJ2-CC goes around for between $15 and $20.
On the plus side you can use all the usermade levels for JJ2 (up to v1.23), e.g. from J2O. There are enough thirdparty singleplayer levels out there to keep you going for a while. ;)

thx for the info from all of ya =)
I'd played jazz jackrabbit 1 a long while ago so when i saw jj2-hh98 i thought "kewl, this will be a blast" and so i decided to get it instead of getting "riven - the sequel to myst" for the same price ($20) ... I'll have a look around for those user made levels which im tipping will be quite good? :)
I've been a Worms Armageddon addict for a while now so it's nice having a short break ;)
