I think it's the Bolly Boss because you can shoot ather bosses everywhere and he will only get hurt if you shoot on his eyes.

Wow, I just made the 100th topic in the General Jazz section.

I want to thank my mom and dad and everybody who made this possible for me.

Thanks....

<strike>Tweedle</strike> I'll list them here, so I can decide better.

Boss:-Pros:-Cons:

Queen-Doesn't need activate boss, is original.-A few bugs.

Tuf-Has tracking thingy, looks cool-Is WAY too easy

Robot-I'll think of something...-Ice him.

Uterus-Can't be hurt for a while, makes baddies-Can't hurt you at times

Bolly-What Assassin said...-Too easy if you know the trick

Bubba-Weird, yet cool-Needs good place to be hard

Devan-His huge jumps, and other form-Overused. (Duh)

Rocket Turtle-Interesting idea-(Won't even start)

Tweedle-Dunno-Dunno

Bilsy-Warping thingy-Good reflexes, he's dead

Xmas Bilsy-See above-See above

Conclusion? Errrrr... Overused or not, I'd sav Devan. Don't let this make you use him in even more levels, though. :P

Devan was way too EASY for me. I had trouble with that thing you find in the medieval level, er, the thing with the chain that comes after you, and you shoot the chain off, and then it comes after you, that one, it's been three years since I have even played single player, so I am racking my brain. http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

What do you mean by the "trick"? Spaz's sidekick on the chain...?

But yeah, I think the chain one is the best.

The Bolly Boss, but since I know the trick, he's fairly easy to beat. Still, he's the hardest.

Bilsy Boss. Uhhh, I hope that's the right name. The big devil transport guy that shoots fireballs at you. He is the only boss that does 2 damage per shot.

Bolly boss is easy. Just shoot off his chain (starting with the bottom one first) and he has a very stupid attack. One that is WAY easy to dodge because it shows you exactly where it is gonna shoot.

Believe it or not, but I've seen a proper screenshot of the tweedle boss. One without him frozen blah blah. If I can press F12 fast enough I might jst show everyone http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

He's a turtle dressed in pre-grade clothes with a little helicopter cap on his head.

How cute. Oh, and Bubba also deals 2 damage per shot. Hmmm, I should check that. Be right back....

The medivo boss is hardest: nuff said.

BTW: Devan is NOT hard, in fact, he's too patternistic.

I absolutly love the robot boss ;)

Mr Medivo is soooooooooo easy if you know how... and i know how.... you wont even have to get raid of his chain...

Devan is the best boss in damage, because he has regeneration of any kicks or buttstomps that get dealt to him, he also has nice 2 heart removing fireballs in his demon form.

The rest of the bosses arent all that interesting, although the rocket turtle works partially, it can only fly to one place instead of loops... But I still use him every now and then.

I don't know the names for any of them. But the li'l remote controled robot that shoots the red light bulb everywhere is the best, and then that red twirly guy that sounds like a vacuum. He's in the demo.

Most of the bosses are extremely easy hands down once you memorize their patterns.

Actually(sort of on the subject still), that's one of the major problems with single player on JJ2. The enemies are so patternistic and follow a set animation path. This allows people to memorize what they do easier and once the memorization is mastered, they can slaughter the game.

Now, if the level is something like QoB, THEN it is tough.

Has everyone forgotten about my Jazz Clone Boss? http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

All of the bosses are easy! Of course! It's your surroundings that can make it harder.

The MCE guy? Yes, we had. And speaking of, what about the queen who drops JJ2 logos instead of bricks? Forgot about her, too?

Fear
Jun 17, 2001, 09:03 AM
Queen that drops logo"s? I have seen the jazz boss, but basically you could give a boss any image, right?

And besides that, what are the 'unused' bosses and how do you activate them (for example the young turtle with rotor cap on mentioned on this forum somewhere). And how do you prevent some bosses from following their pattern, which can be a real pain...?

Which boss is the tall teleporting devil boss???

And why does the rocket boss shoot off the screen right when he appearze? You don't even have time to shoot him! (well maybe a little time)

Violet CLM
Jun 19, 2001, 07:09 PM
The teleporting one is Bilsy.

The queen that drops falling logos is a MCE, with the number the same number as the Queen Event.

The Rocket Turtle does not instantly shoot away if you have an area IF event with ID 0 nearby him. For him to go somewhere else, you must put another one about 1 or 2 spaces away from the first, with a +1 ID. You can repeat this process.

EvilMike
Jun 19, 2001, 07:13 PM
He follows area ID events. He is fun for making levels where you have to kill him before he makes it to the finish.

Also, there is another jazz clone boss. Put a devan (robot boss) and a tweedle boss and see what you get...

It's a weird jazz that shoots out other jazzes when you shoot him, and a few million when you kill him. VERY cool looking, although he gets rid of the sound and dissapears when you go near him. To combat the dissapearing I sugest placing him in a spot where you can shoot, but not touch him.

EvilMike

And my favourite boss is 100 copter lizards that come out of a box. It's not really a boss, but it's evil and can be hard to kill depending on the room.

I like all bosses, as long as they are put in a place where it is difficult to fight them. All of the bosses are WAY too easy if you use a normal room.

Are there any more cool MCE bosses? I'd appreciate a list of how to put 'em (the combos). I'm making some SP levels and I plan on trying to put that strange, multiplying Jazz boss.... it's cool. can be killed with dynamite!
