Can't decide which is the best. What do you think?

I like version 3 and 4 better than 1 and 2, and I like version 4 best.

Version 4,indeed...Version 2 is nice,too... (looks almost the same as V.4,but without good shading!;))

I seem to be a bit more keen to 4. The shading's quite a bit better, I say. 1 and 3 make him seem... I dunno, 'bigger' than he should be, and 2 doesn't look right at all against that background (not enough shading). 4 looks right, though. Very nice.

Now, five vote 4, four vote 3, two vote 1. And this (http://www.pencilpen.com/artists/Nemesis/freelancer_reshade.jpg) was suggested in Noogy's forum. Because if you JUST look at 1 or 3, you don't know what it is. You have to look at 2 to know that it's a guy looking somewhere...

Yeah, that's the other thing I was going to mention... it's hard to tell exactly what's being looked at in the ones with the blinds-like shading. Which is why I suggested 4.

At first I was thinking either 2 or 4, 4 being my favorite, because I thought the blind-like shadowing was too dark and made the image look strange to me, but now that you have that new version with much lighter blinds shadowing...I like that one best.

As soon as I looked at 1 I knew what it was meant to be. I dig the whole film-noir type look to all of them, they really rock, but I actually like the ones with the hard black lines across because it makes it look more edgy. But if people don't know much about film-noir, they wouldn't get it. Anyway.

The reshaded blind one was coolest, I think.

Except, however, the more detailed shading takes away from the edgy-ness of the sketched-like picture. I say 3 is the best.

I'd have to go with the majority here, and vote for 4. I knew what I was looking at since 1, but I like the shading on 4.
