Ambient Lighting Woes

This has been annoying me for quite some time. JJ2 used to show Ambient Lighting, but now it doesn't anymore. I have no idea why. I have Windows 98. ;p Ambient Lighting is on. Hardware acceleration is gray and off.

Can anyone help? This is very frustrating..:(

Is your graphics card able to display ambient lighting?

I don't know, but like I said, I used to be able to see it fine, and my graphics card is exactly the same, we didn't change anything..

hmm...Have you tried turning it off and back on again, maybe to reset the values?

Do the levels you try to play include water? When there's water in a level, Ambient lightning doesn't work.

I've turned it on and off many many times.

And I'm smart enough to know about water and lighting, it doesn't work at all, in any level. I've tried the same levels on my friends computer and they have lighting. I'm very frustrated..

Hmm, this is a toughie for me to solve. But you know you could always try uninstalling and reinstalling JJ2. Don't ask me why but try making sure Use MMX Capabilities is on.
