I was just wondering what these users were:

http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=1024
http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=1025
http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=1026
http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=1027

They all look spambot generated. Only one of them (the first one) posted, and that post was deleted and it was banned. What is this and why does it keep happening?

You are probably right Trafton. Also, none of them allow e-mails.

They sound like AOL user names.

I also found these:

http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=868

Those are unrelated. There was a spambot causing these new ones. The first and last items on Iam Canadian's list were probably test accounts, the second was a DDL spamming account.

imo, I think that someone should go through and make a list of every single completely inactive user (no posts, no attempt at a profile, just sort of...there). And then delete the ones from, say, 4 months and back. I doubt it would clear up much space, but it is rather annoying to look at the Member List and see a bunch of absolutely nothing.

Sometimes users come back much later after they register.

It appears that more bots have registered, but none have posted (thank goodness).

Besides, most people who register and then never post will not come back, and the rest I'm sure would understand about having to re-create their accounts.
