Hello!
I'm trying to complete a team of expierienced level designers (tileset creators are welcome too of course - cause we might need some new tilesets) for my upcomming project, codenamed ALPHA (real name not revealed due to storyline spoiler :) )
The goal is to create a single player episode (JCS version 1.23 only - so it works for all folks out there) for JJ2.
Anyone willing to participate in the project send me a message and one or two sample single player levels to danx@telemiks.pl (a PM with a link to the level is also good)
anyone wanting to contact me - you can catch me on Y!Messenger or AOL. My ID's are:
Y! - daniel_agent
AOL - danielagent1

I think I am interested... But I am afraid this project will never be finsihed... I mean, the more people help, the more chance of getting cancelled. Could you give me more information in a PM or something, please?

I'm interested, that is, if my j2lc colleagues don't mind. I doubt they would.
Anyway, post more information on it here. I'm interested in helping, but unfortunately I have one other project I'm working on, but is close to being finished. For now.
For references...um...SXR. Heard of it? =P

As requested here's more info about it:
Basically the whole episode is planned to be created by maximum 3 or 4 people doing the level design - each person gets a section of the whole episode to create using information I provide as to purpose of the level and storyline development and tileset that has to be used in it (however any suggestions for changes will be very welcome).
I'd like to have people who are very experienced with use of JCS and have a lot of imagination and of course time to dedicate themselves to the project. And before I 'employ' anyone for it I'd very like to see what levels they made and how good they are :)
The basic story draft is near completion and each level's purpose and place in the storyline will be determined soon. How many levels the pack will contain is still unknown to me but I'm aiming at about 15 levels.
Well that's about it actually...
More info will be of course provided only to the initiated ;)
I'm very looking forward to work with any of you and I hope the whole thing won't be cancelled lol
Daniel.

Okay. I think I meet most of the requirements. Indeed, until now I only uploaded some "basic" levels to J2O but on my other PC there are actually some SP levels and stuff :). I think I can help. If you want to know more, contact me. My MSN address is tjoppetja2@hotmail.com.

You're prolly gonna look at me for tilesets, and chances are I'm just gonna run away and hide ;)

Oh duh, I read that in his Welcome Back thread.
I'd be very much happy to participate, that is as long as previous engagements don't deter my availability. This is a very busy month for me for everything (RL and online). Do you have any real goal for a release date?

Hey,I think I'm interested...
I've uploaded a single player episode called
"SCE-Here we go again",rated 8.5
The rating woulda been higher if I had used any good tilesets...:D
I'm pretty busy, but normally I can't do anything except stuff like cg'ing while I'm online and chatting and stuff, but I think cg'ing and level-creating is basically the same!:p
As for experience,I'm playing Jazz for....well,a lot of years!:D*doesn't remember* XD

Well I've been thinking about end of April but that's probably impossible. But end of May perhaps. It all depends how fast the poject is going to be done :)
And Picollo I'll gladly play your ep :)

Um. SXR is rather large. I am considering just reuploading so that it will be in the new location (SXR was uploaded onto an older server). Yes. I'll get to that.

Just to make an update on how're things going.
The ones who got in were contacted a while ago.
Sorry to ones who got rejected :( I couldn't take you all in... I hate choosing people, trust me... I've had enough of thast after 4 season of The Mole Online...
And that's it basically... I hope we'll be ready to post an annoucement with pictures, story info and the episodes name in April.
And I hope a 3-level Demo will be ready by the end of April too. :)

This is an important announcement so it'll be in bold :)
Anyways the 4 of us began working on the Project but things turned out the way that forces us to hire another person for it...
I can't give to much details because of the nature of the whole pack and the storyline involved so you'll just have to trust me on what I say now:
-The whole thing is organised around a secret message board where we discuss possible ideas and decide what is done next for the Project. I'm not forcing anyone to do a thing they think should be done differently - so far the remaining 3 have came up with very interesting ideas that had been incorporated into the pack.
-The story involved and the world map of the pack is a complex and interesting one - carefully planned to the tiniest detail (the story is still revised to incorporate new ideas and details - and it's been first drafted a month ago). :D
-We're looking for a talented and creative person who feels good with working on SP and MP levels and likes to have fun, cause we are a very funny group :D.
If you're interested in helpng us PM me as soon as possible. (please? :D)
Daniel
More info about the pack will be posted in April with screenshots from the levels we'll have done by that time and storyline details.
Right now I can only say it'll be a long Journey. :D
