No matter how much I get a kick out of how funny this is. No one can forget all the Jazz 2 relationships. One of the earliest ones was the Lion Kind 2: Simba's pride relationship. Of Kiara and Kovu.

And then another one was our Jazz2 creator Jon Mcllean or something and someone, I forgot. Alright, can someone help me out here.

Anyone know others?

Heh, online dating. I've had a taste of it and in my opinion, it isn't the way to go. I could never have a online JJ2 girlfriend because I was too old for the majority of the lady jazzers. I think there was like one who was 18, I think I was 19 back then. But still, no luck.

Anyways this is aside from my point. I believe that looking online for a lasting relationship is like going into battle without a bullet proof vest. It is too weak and won't last. The internet connections constantly fail, causing problems. Lag makes communication slow. The only time you can see your online mate is when you are both online and in the same multiuser enviroment. They may be the same gender as you (this is even more likely if you are in a furry (jazz jackrabbit aside) multi user interface, and you are a guy (most people who play as females in furry places are actually men in RL.), a very large amount of time will have to be spent online to have a significant enough relationship. Finally, unless you or the person you are interested in is interested in travelling cross country and you have the money for that, seeing them in RL (real life) will be crazy. The chances of them living nearby are slim.

In rare cases online relationships work out. But that is only the rare cases.

But you probably won't listen. I know I didn't.

Oh, btw, if someone is unhappy because they don't have a relationship (thinking they need a relationship to be happy), I believe they have a thinking error. A (romantic) relationship has never been required for a full life, despite what the media tells us. Perhaps one has to search their own soul to find what they are trying to fill, perhaps even the God spot (a spot in everyone that only God can fill).

I'm thinking a little of past events, sorry about shooting that bit out of nowhere. The topic brouight up some thoughts and memories to my mind.

I'll leave you back to your discussion, and thanks very much for your time. Sometimes I feel I have so much to say, perhaps from much of my time spent saying nothing.

Personally I've just found online relationships to be not worth the effort.

Alright, I have to admit, this is sad. Online relationships are bad enough, but revolving around a online game? That's just low. I mean, I've heard of when people are in love (note the words "heard of" :D ) they give chocolates, roses, poems, and so on. Sorry, I just haven't heard of people swooning each other over JJ2 tilesets. :p

Online relationships are kinda crazy. But it's surprising how easily you can fall for someone just by their picture. But you still have to know their personality and interaction with others. Phew, a couple chics on JJ2 are hot!

Careful with your posts Unhit. It was Hare who posted that, not Haze. These are two different people ;) As for online relationships... well, i don't know, i've never had one, but i'd guess an online relationship can't possibly beat the "real" thing. You never get to hug, kiss, or have real romantic moments together. You can have very pleasant conversations of course, but it wouldn't really be the same thing.

I didn't read the longer posts, so I may have missed something interesting.

Now, as careful as I am with some things I say if there's anything wrong just edit it out or somesuch.

I don't know about while playing Jackrabbit, but I've had kinda-sorta relationships with people on MSN

Two guys in estonia, one I'm more attracted to than the other and they're like best friends, I flirted with this guy erik from canada, and then had this thing with this guy womp, I don't know/don't remember his actual name and he did things on webcam for me. Right now I'm in a thing with this guy marc from canada, who goes to the same school as erik, marc and me said, wait, how can I say this without saying anything that would eb considered to be censored....... hmmm......... I know, I'll use english speak.

"I said some things to Marc that floated his boat so he could sqeeze the cream out his roll"

That sounded wierd, maybe I shoudl jsut remove that. Or speak normally.

But then he got all depressed about this girl he liked not liking him and such, but we're still flirting and in a couple years I'm visiting my buddies kronk and matt in grand prarie in canada so I was going to visit him also. On his parents bed and in the garden.

But he's like 11 years younger than me, and I don't think that's wierd but his parents might when they find me in the house.

I forgot where I was going with all this. I like spine crushing hugs.

Let me see, I took math in college so I should be able to work this out.

M = my age, 29

H = his age

now M - 1 / 2B+RT^3 = H +RT^3
M-1/2B = H

so B must = 0.5(1.5555555)

Therfore he is 18. Wait, that's not right, I thought he was 16.

Oh I know why, steve said "this guy's like 11 years younger than you" so I had that kind of thing in my head.

Depends on what you think of when speaking about online relationships. Some relationships start online, then turn out great when the people meet each other in real life. I agree that it probably wouldn't give too much satisfaction if it just stays online though. Seems so... I dunno... distant.

Yeah, well, that's usually the point of an online relationship. To meet each other someday.

Marine1969
