MX (or Mix if you prefer) is another way to show your artistic talent. Each week, a new raw image will be edited into this post. The image can then be manipulated in Photoshop, Vectored in Illustrator or even re-drawn. The one real golden rule is be CREATIVE. If you feel like displaying a certain emotion out of it, go for it. If you want it to be silly, go for it. It doesn’t even have to LOOK like the original image, as long as it’s there somewhere.

Obligatory Rules

- No ****, or at least, nothing graphically nude.
- Image must be turned in no larger (pixel dimensions) than the original raw image.
- Please, only use .jpg, .gif or .png. No .psd's, .bmps, etc.
- Be creative. Please try to refrain from putting text on the base image and calling it good. Think about what you're making, think about ways to take the image and turn it into something completely different. It doesn't have to make sense. It doesn't even have to have the entirety of the original image if you don't want it to.
- Also, it's not required that you do this in photoshop, or that you do a photomanipulation. If you like to paint, paint something to do with the picture. Repaint it if you wish. Paint over it. Redraw it. Take it into Illustrator and vectorize it. Whatever you feel most comfortable with, do that.
-Image MUST be under 200k. Find a way to compress it if the image is too large.
- Find a place to host your image. In the event that no host can be found, contact me on ICQ or AIM, and I will host it for you.

Judging

-The images will be judged ONE week after the day they are posted. Late entries will not be accepted.
-The images will be judged by Freelance and myself, on the day the entries are due…or the next day that we are both available.
-I know I will be participating every so often, but these will not be judged (for the most of obvious of reasons)
