My sound isn't working anymore for some reason.

I was playing JJ1, and then I quit. After a while, I played it again, but the sound wouldn't work. My sound worked on all my other applications, but the sencond time I played Jazz, it was gone. I was deleting some useless files from my computer, but I'm positive I didn't delete anything Jazz-related. Does anyone know the problem?

First we need to know what type of sound you are using. Did you set up your sound card through the setup program or are you using the pc speaker ("No Sound") option? Did you try running the setup program again? (setup.exe)

What is your operating system?

Also, to avoid going to deep if this is a simple problem, check to make sure the in-game volumes are set correctly, and that your speakers are plugged in and on.

If everything fits, yet the sound still doesn't "go", restart and try again. If it still won't "go", just run setup.exe again and configure the sound from scratch. If it still doesn't "go", check the program called "Play Control" and make sure all volumes are up to max or a hearable level.
