View Full Version : Problem Downloading levels with custom tilesets

Some levels I download of the site with custom tilesets won't work for me. Whenever I try to run them the message "Cannot find level or tileset" pops up and Jazz exits, even when I have the tilesets in the same folder as Jazz2.exe. I can go into JCS, open the level and change the tileset to the proper one, but for people who put passwords on their levels this obviously won't work.

You need to put them in the same folder as JCS.exe, not Jazz2.exe.

They're both in the same folder...

Okay, is the level in the same folder as JCS.exe and the tileset, then?

Yes, that is correct

Could it be a misspelling in the filenames?

Not for that many different levels.

How many levels does this happen with?

Most of the ones that use custom tilesets.

As the old saying goes, the exceptions prove the rule. Can you, if you are able, post a list of some of the levels that this problem does not occur with and some that it does? Include file names and tilesets. Preferably list ones we are likely to know of. Once a pattern is found, the problem can easily be isolated and ridded of. :)

Some that have worked:

The lost world episode
Rabbit Honor guard
The Mystic Seas of Sepentra

Some that have not worked:

Agama's Heavan example level
Time Tripping
The Future Jazz

I'll be back with more later...
