Just read the description...I'm currently a little too lazy to type out another one here. Warning, the file size is somewhat large, so please don't whine if it takes forever to download. ;-P

Que Passa!!!!

Really nice... Even though it's a junkyard, it made me think of a post-apocoliptic world, for some reason...

Ooo, mouseart. Nifty. I'll agree with Batty, it looks kinda like a post-apocalyptic Stonehenge or something like that. :-)

Or it could just be that when I think "Junkyard", I think of two teams building something for ten hours. Oops. :-) (Granted, over where you're from, Megumi, it'd be Scrapheap Challenge, not Junkyard Wars, so nevermind)

Still, very nice.

Wow. I actually thought it was 3d rendered. Either you're really good, or my eyes or really bad. Or both.

Pwn3d.

I LOVE it.

Why doesn't it show up on my deviantWatch, btw?!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

I thought I had put you on my watch O.o *scratches head*

Oh well, this picture rocks! :)

That's some sic stuff right there, VelKeh. :) I actually thought of the game Starcraft or the movie Alien for some odd reason. o_o; Oh well. It looks really cool and all.... 3D-ish. What program did you use? It looks awesome as far as mouse art goes.

Impressive, yes...
Has a nice feeling, and very detailed...=)
(Maybe that lava/magma/or whatever yellow-red liquid flowing down that slide coulda have been a little more realistic...I dunno...maybe it's just me. Ignore. )

Thanks everyone! =)

Sorry, I forgot to mention that this is a Work in Progress...only 40% done at the moment. I'll try to fix up the liquid metal in the pipes at the top-right corner. Currently, the liquid looks a little jagged but I generally paint sharp strokes before using an adjustment layer to soften it up a bit.

Anaiyu, I am using Paint Shop Pro (7.02). =P

Personally, I love bringing out the beauty in overlooked things. Sometimes Junkyards can be nice too, if you look at it from a different perspective, I guess. ;-P

This picture makes me imagine the wasteland that the earth might turn into in the years to come. I like it. :)

Personally, I'd like some more green stuff added, but then since you said its a work in progress, my criticism is limited to that.

Hmm...it really might be a good idea to make the green stuff a little larger...I'll think about it and try to expand the layer. =)

Hm, I dunno... green is a little overused in pictures like that, and it's questionable it'll fit with the dominating red glow of the picture... I'd personally add some black to it.

Just to let you know, this is based after DOM-Junkyard (UT2k3 level, from the Epic levelpack or something).

Bah, I'm starting to get rather confused...I think I'll just finish the picture first and worry about comments/critiques (sp.?) later on. ;-P

I was thinking about drawing Domina/Fate/Subversa for the picture, but I would have to make a better foreground or else they will look fairly strange. Too bad that making fine details is difficult with a mouse, though. ;-P

What about making up your own?
Creativity is always good.

This is from UT2k3 reg ;), Piccolo. Welcome to UT2k3 land...or something.

Did I forget to mention something? The finished image will be, of course, for PiZZa.

I know reg;). Doesn't say anything, tho...
That's what I hate about games like that. They're unoriginal. XP

Please follow suit.

Love the picture, Velk...now finish it.

Fawriel, how do you define un-original?

Besides the fact that I have rarely, if ever seen a junkyard picture, who cares? Every picture is diffrent. Let's use UT and ut2k3 as examples. They are both the same idea but ut2k3 has much better playability. They are vastly diffrent in some ways.

The only thing I call un-original is a complete copy of another picture.

This probaly sounded lame or something.
But no, VelK's picture is not unoriginal at all.

I didn't say her pic is unoriginal. I said the game is. Doh. ;b

The picture is very good, you rarely see good pictures of wasteland and junkyards... very cool.

Yeah, she made something original out of an unoriginal game. Now that's something. :-)

I believe this is the best advice to follow. :)
