The XÐ irc channel has officialy been opened, i had to do some things to get it ready.

channel : #xdclan
Currently ops:
-BunnyElmer
-Stiletto
-Ri
-Unhit

We have L but w'l need Q asap :-P ( < NM )

Whats the use? only Me, Unhit, Ri, and sometimes you idle there.. I have never seen any other XD member in there..

P.S. If you are going to idle, it might be advisible to set -m so people can talk.

You can't even request Q at the moment. And if you think you really need Q, think of the diffrences between L and Q. The only thing Q has more than L are the chanflags and the bans. That's it. Oh, and the availibility for adding more persons to the chanlev. If that's the only reason for you to get it, get an eggdrop working together with L instead. L does where the bots are made for: protecting your channel.

Actually, Q is better for both. It is just that it is not possible to get in small channels. Or medium-sized channels, for that matter. Q is really hard to get - much harder than when #jj2 was young.

Uh, why? Why is Q better for a small channel than L? L works fine in #spiffyjuice, I don't see how Q can be better for both. The bans and flags can be done by ops or bots anyway.

Shadow is right in saying Q is better for a huge channel because a huge channel would mean more users to add to the chanlev (where Q comes into play).

In a small channel, you don't need Q most of the time imo. Features like Q's "*****mode" aren't extremely necessary, because a smaller channel could be moderated by a few ops as well.

Q is better for any channel because it has more features. However, for QuakeNet's sake, L is the bot of choice for such channels.

And...by the way...the only difference between the chanlevs of Q and L is that L lacks +t (can change topic) and +b (banned).
