Error connecting to list servers, and a patching failure...

I downloaded, the patch that is supposed to get rid of the "error connecting to list servers"-message, but it won't install.

When I select my Jazz2 folder and try to apply the patch, it says:
"JAZZ@.EXE: MISSING OR ALREADY OPENED"

And quite frankly, I have no idea what to do about this. I looked in the folder, and JAZZ2.EXE is in place.

Maybe you tried to install it while playing Jazz2? Close Jazz2 before installing the patch.

Nope. It was completely shut down.

Let me help you with this, cuz I'm the maker of that patch.
I realized that sometimes it doesn't patch the file on Windows ME/2000/XP systems.

So you better upgrade to 1.23 and then click here:

Hm. That patch makes my game crash:

FATAL APPLICATION ERROR

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 signaled the following internal error:

The animation library file 'Anims.j2a' is incomplete, corrupt or of an unknown version.

Make sure Jazz Jackrabbit 2 has been installed correctly and retry.
If the problem persists, please reinstall Jazz Jackrabbit 2.


But I didn't do anything to that anim file :(

Thats a Random problem it can happen quite often,
just install or reinstall JJ2 again.. Dont know if thats the right way tho but it helped for me.

If you don't do it the game will crash like that.
