I do believe that this was the wierdest comic strip I've ever done. It looks pretty good as a single picture, but it can be read like a comic.

Just so you know, the yellow dog guy is Jackal T. Ripper(Yes, he's named after Jack the Ripper... He was origionally a bad guy... then I desided to just make him stupid.) He's a dingo(a yellowish or redish species of wild dog found in Australia), antisocial, dangerprone, and just plain dumb. I should also say that he is... ME... Or rather me when I was just starting out in school. I was a bit stupid, dangerprone, and antisocial myself. Now I'm more like Mat.
Weep for Jackal.

Ah, a litte critique. Even good artists make this mistake, but the fur on the tail is pointing in the wrong direction. Good art pieces have this same problem, that I've seen before, but the fur is supposed to point away from the body, instead of towards it. I'll draw up an example, be right back.

True, the fur can even hang straight down, but when it flows towards the body it looks off.

Hmm... Never considered that before. I'll try it out with Jackal- who knows, he might just need a new nickname(Weasle usually calls him Wing-butt... because it always looks kind of like a wing or something.)

Ok, I just wanted to add one thing: I've practiced alturing Jackals tail. It's a little awkward right now, but then all I need is more practice. The thing is, for one of my stories(Specifically, one explaining how Jackal got to be such a dope... Lets just say it involves lab animals for now.), I gave Jackal a complete family- a mother named Sphinx, a father named Pharoh, a brother named Hawk, and two sisters named Croc and Hippo. I actually started on a family photo type picture of most of them (Pharoh died before the pups were born.) each with the new style of tail.
I'll post it when it's ready just to get peoples opinions.

Here's the family with their new tails. They're personalities are kind of obvious by their looks but, in order, they are:

Sphinx: Mother. Was captured before the pups were born and used as a lab animal for cosmetic sergery. She has a frayed tail, permanent eyeliner dyed into her upper eyelids, an earing, a identification tag, and a scar where she previously had a breast implant(That inplant was the cause of Jackals stupidity, just so you know.)

Croc: Extreamly vicious. Kind of like the Loony Tunes Tazmanian Devil, only less verbal.

Hawk: Genius. Is also a bit of a neat freak(Notice that his tail is practically perfect?)

Hippo: Militant. I think she's been wearing that helmet ever since her eyes opened. She's also very gifted at plotting strategies.

Jackal: Idiot. Still, whenever the pups went hunting, he made an ideal decoy.

"I knew the past would hurt me someday." Excellent line. Just so perfectly bad, it's great. :-)

Maybe you could just leave Jackal's tail fur the way it is. Could just be an appearance quirk of his. I don't think it's THAT bad, really...

Hmm... Maybe Jackals tail could do both in certain situations.(Like maybe hang down when he gets clobbered or looks especially stupid or something.)

Well, I'll exparament later.
(By the way, I should note that this will be one of the last art pieces I submit until after finals are over on my birthday.)
