Well, in JJ1 Jazz was most definitely an astronaut, but I don't remember hearing that he was ever purple.

He was purple and called wubbo oksels. But Cliff didn't like the name and caracter. So they totally redesigned it and gave him a name. They didn't know anything, so cliff suggested to call the bunny after his dog. Jazz

yeah, i knew that about the name and being purple, but according to the DYK, he was changed TO a rabbit. i'd never read anything about him being anything but a rabbit.

Arjan made a demo of an Astronaut, then they changed that to Wubbo Ockels, then Jazz I think.

I saw a shareware package that showed a screen shot of a very old version of Jazz. It was the one with the goggles on his head I think. I didn't buy it 'cause i already owned the shareware Jazz, and that version just looked darn ugly. Wish I did, though, 'cause it would be a nice collector's item.

I know someone who did. And the package had the same old normal Jazz1 shareware we all know.
