This probaly isn't considered technical help, but I found a song that would be really good in a JJ2 level that is an mp3. Is there any way to even make a bad quality MOD of a mp3?

Not really. Unless you make an adaptation. To put it simply, mods are like MIDIs except you record your own instruments. So it is possible to convert an MP3 to a mod (by taking the MP3 and making it one big long instrument and then putting at the beginning of the mod), but not very convenient and the file would be very big.

Just rewrite the entire thing. It's your best bet.

Transform it into a wav and use it as a sample in your mod and put it at the beginning of the track.

Yes, but how would I make it into a .wav? ;-P

Well there are plenty of programs that convert MP3->wav. If you can't use one though, you could probably set your windows mixer to record from wave out instead of the microphone and then record the song using your favorite recording program.

WA2 has a DiskWriter plugin for this kind of thing. :)
