Found out why...

Note: The signature was edited. You may only change this signature if the end result is a signature of equal or smaller size.

There are no posted rules about signature sizes. Therefore I feel that this is injust.

I do not think it is a new rule. I believe that you even had your signature edited for it when you were using the name Pheonix (sic). Signatures are supposed to be less than a page in length on medium font size under Internet Explorer with a normal resolution.

normal resolution.

Please define "normal resolution". 800x600? 1024x720? 640x480?

Probably 640x800 or whatever the smallest one is now. You might want to follow the old 79 character rule, although that applies better to fonts that have equal character sizes (I forgot what they are called.)

Normal resolution is 1024x768.

For sizing purposes, 640x480 is usually used, because it is the smallest possible size on most monitors.

Almost nobody uses 640x480 anymore. It's not even available the normal way in Windows XP.

1024x768 is the best standard. It's the lowest resolution that the majority of people use.

I agree, Link, but I still believe 640x480 is best for sizing because it is the lowest normal resolution possible on most monitors.

Well, you'd be the minority group who thinks that. Many, many people, experts and computer n00bs alike, would suggest 1024 as the standard.

That would mean that those who use 640x480 are disadvantaged.

lol

(I'm using 800x600 because my parents have bad eyes. I kinda like it that way. Any smaller and It would strain my eyes.)

800x600 would probably strain my eyes.

It would, because you'd only use that setting if you were mentally or visually handicapped in the first place.

That may be true. :P
