International Jazz2 Meeting

Ok, I got it figured out. If everyone will cooperate, this will work, and everyone can participate in the international Jazz meeting.

I'll check the internet to see if I can purchase some tracking collars, you know, like the ones they put on bears and stuff. Meanwhile someone can go about aquiring the schematics to the roller coaster park. We can get someone to rebuild the park in an interactive 3D program with online multi user capabilities. We can strap the tracking collars to all the particpating Jazzers who actually get to go to the meeting, and have the locations constantly updated via satelite to the program. So, when the meeting takes place, the other Jazzers can log on and almost be there too. Now some of those who are fortunate enough to take part in the meeting may object to wearing the collars, but not to worry. I have my tranquelizer gun ready... Yeah, and ear tags :).

Minnesota? That is bordering the great lakes, right? You have a point. With it over there, it is kinda in the middle of US and Canada. However, as it has been stated before, North America is more spread out than Europe. I've never taken an airline anywhere, it sounds expensive.

If I may suggest, I think the state it is at should have a couple local players in the area as well as being in a fair location for all the players in the western hemmisphere.

BTW, I agree with Shen. I think the meeting should be planned out months in advance to give players time to prepare.

Sadly, I'm afraid I can't come.

I forgot to tell my mom about the meeting untill now, and it seems she has to work all day; and sadly, she doesn't like the idea of me going there all alone, since it isn't really close by. Since my dad is on vacation to America untill the day AFTER(!) the meeting there isn't really anyone that can come with me, so she won't let me go. My mom tends to be somewhat fussy and, well... overprotective, for lack of a beter word, on these sorts of topics (she also doesn't like the idea of me being outdoors after midnight, for example), and I haven't been able to talk her into letting me go. I'm really sorry I won't be able to come, I was rather looking forward to it. The fact that I was unable to come to last years meeting doesn't make it any easier too.

Bij een aanrijding gisteravond omstreeks kwart voor twaalf, op een overweg aan de Fortweg in Utrecht, werd een auto door een trein gegrepen. De bestuurder van de auto is daarbij om het leven gekomen.

De precieze omstandigheden van het ongeval zijn nog niet bekend. De overweg is beveiligd met halve slagblomen. De auto ligt helemaal vermorzeld onder de trein en zal er onderuit moeten gehaald worden.

Het treinverkeer op de lijn is stilgelegd, de NS zet bussen in voor gestrande reizigers. De verwijderen van de verhakkelde auto en het wegslepen van de trein zal zeker tot diep in de nacht duren.

That's where me, Shadow and Wisey were. Stories will prolly follow later. Got home at 3.45 am. No-one's hurt of course. Wisey prolly can't get into his hotel and will wander around the city all night and get back on the plane at 1 pm tomorrow, so no pictures there. Shadow will hopefully arrive at home safe and sleep alll night and part of the day.

And yeah, it was fun, for the 3 hours i was there.

That's me right now, my dad was testing the cam while I was trying to fix up the pics. Why fix up? simple, the cam went a little nuts later on, it had trouble saving the pics and pretty much everything came out blurred. Sad to hear but its what happened, when the disk became full the pics started getting more blurry.

I'll fix them up when i can and uplaod asap, but i also need to convert them all to a smaller size (i took them at 1600x1200) so it's easier to download/upload, wil be done in a while, I fixed up the one biggest group pic we have (some people left already:()
