And an image of my Toca's Fantasy tileset located here...

http://groups.msn.com/purrhead/ofnointerest.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=238

You can tell it has deffinately evolved since the screen shot I took for the image in my signature.

Kind of busy. Will take time to talk later.

Daawww, that rain picture is darn cute! XD (Maybe it'd look a bit more cute-innocent-and-stuff if the tongue was a little smaller? *shrugs* )

Same goes for the fishing-piccy... except for the tongue-part.*cough*

Same goes for Eli Mourn...... eh, wait, no, no, erm..
You did a good job with the feeling of this picture.. very well done with the wind and the sad look... only his arms are a tad short, eh?

OH MY BOB! All I can say about that picture is OMF.
(Oh my food/FoD. ;b ) The expression in Bob's face is priceless. ^^

Random characters.. OMG U DR00 FATBOY SLIM BDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!111111

Heheh, Spaz on the Ritz is awesome.

Whoa.. I have no idea what the "breadstick"-line is about, but darn does Toca look cute in this one.. o_o (Is it just me or are her legs a little short... or is that supposed to be like that? o.o )

Do I have to mention how cute Toca is in the midnight drink picture? =3

Now let's have a look at the tileset... holy crud.
That's some awesome ground tiles you have there! O_O
Wow... I've gotta see... there's got to be a level we can use this in...
But unfortunately, yeah.. the background could use a bit of work..
Could you maybe make a second version with blue sky? ^^;

Hare's alive! I thought it was kind of funny that his "last activity" date was almost the same as the date that the XP virus came out.

Holy crap...the tileset rules.

As has been said, though, the background is a little less than appealing. Seems you were going for a sunset/sunrise sort of thing, I guess? That's about all I could gather from the range of colours used. But the ground work and the eyecandy - awesome. I can't wait until you are finished. It's comparable to Agama's work.

Am I the only one that likes it? Suprisingly, it looks perfectly fine in 8 bit.

Hey that background was hard to make. I had to make place all those colors pixel by pixel. Maybe you'd change your mind if you see it in action. I got a lot of good feedback when I hosted the test level.

Nice work on the pencil drawings, and your tileset looks great. :)

Use TTM32 for textured backgrouns, you can make alot of cool different backgrounds with it, each looking extremely unique. An example:

Alrighty. I posted this stuff at the Noogy board, and since I wasn't so busy, I posted a bit of info, so I'm posting it here too.

Posted at the Noogy Board------------------------------------------
Greetings.

I've made a lot of pencil sketches and stuff. I like making images that are only pencil sketches, because I can do a lot of them. Spending hours coloring an image isn't as fun for me as drawing new art and working on expressions and poses.

Mostly the images here are kind of cleaned up, and not showing any of the original construction, but here and there I left the center line of the face or something.

-the link to the black and white page goes here-

I'm just putting the URL for the gallery here, because I have around 12 images (I don't know the number for sure) that I put there. They were all done within this week except for the fishing picture.

The next picture is in color ^_^. It is a screen shot of a Jazz Jackrabbit 2 tileset and level I'm making, called Toca's Fantasy. I have an older version of Toca there, because I started making it before the last change I made to Toca. Its only about 5 to 10 percent finished, I suppose. I want it to look like something that isn't a Jazz Jackrabbit level, and more like a more... natural looking enviroment, I suppose, giving the surroundings more depth.

-image of Toca's Fantasy screen shot goes here-

Oh, and I don't care for computer generated textures that look computer generated. :p... That texture you gave as an example looks nice though... Just I don't suppose that program would be able to make clouds that look like the ones on the movie, "vanilla sky" very well.

Try ask Disguise to make one for you, he is the gosu around with textures.

The thing is that Disguize's graphics have a computer generated look, and I'm going for something that looks a bit more human generated, or something or rather...

...Hmm... Did you just say that Disguize may be able to make that cloud texture I wanted?... I suppose I may ask him sometime, but not right now, I figure I'll leave fixing the sky as a final touch... But wait a minute, the sky looks great already... besides the fact that the gradient of the colors needs to be smoothed out a bit.

Nice bg N0....

I can rip sprites/backgrounds from many popular GBA games, given the time to get to the sprite/bg in the game and to...erm..."get" the game.

EXAMPLE:
During the spell "Odyssey" in Golden Sun: The Lost Age, it shows just four things: The spellcaster, The enemy, Large yellow energy swords, and this BG.

Yes I've seen this, Moonblaze pointed it out to me quite a while ago and I told him I would make somehting and post it here. Ofcourse I'm a very lazy person and I haven't done a thing for it until now ;b

Really, all you people have to do is ask, I don't bite, I'm just very addicted to computer games right now so chances are I won't always help you out.

Anyways, here are a few I made, It's hard to know exactly what people want because *cough* they dont ASK *cough*. Hehehe, anyways, I made 4 quick and palettified them to the vanilla sky type. Yes I know mine sucks and I didn't get it fixed properly, which is why I'm leaving you with the original monochrome ones aswell. (have patience with the one red X, my FTP proggy is being a pain)

<img src="http://www.beute.plus.com/stuff/hare1.gif"><img src="http://www.beute.plus.com/stuff/hare1b.gif">
<img src="http://www.beute.plus.com/stuff/hare2.gif"><img src="http://www.beute.plus.com/stuff/hare2b.gif">
<img src="http://www.beute.plus.com/stuff/hare3.gif"><img src="http://www.beute.plus.com/stuff/hare3b.gif">
<img src="http://www.beute.plus.com/stuff/hare4.gif"><img src="http://www.beute.plus.com/stuff/hare4b.gif">

Now with the textured background thing over with I cna comment. Veeery sweet tileset, I bet that one took ya quite some time and patience, I'm way too lazy nowadays to make stuff like that, veery sweet indeed, GODO JOB! ;D

Also, the textured background by N0body shows some 1337ness aswell, shows you that TTM32 isn't the only program that can make textured backgrounds ;b

Edit: hare3b.gif is now uploaded, rejoice!
