Drumroll please.

Ahem.

I am proud to present: Palette Suite 2.31!

As you may or may not be aware, Palette Suite is a program. For editing palettes. Fancy that.

This will be quite useful to you if you make tilesets, as certain people (namely, Disguise) like to point out every now and then.

There aren't very many new features in this version. But you can now save your palette as a bitmap, which you can place in your tileset to make sure JCS doesn't obliterate your colours.

I have to stop typing this post now, lest I give Disguise a hernia. As always, comments are welcome.

Oh yeah, and here's the link. ;)

In other news, Palette Suite is now the first result you get when you search for the same on Google. How convenient.

My Virus scanner picked up a virus/trojan/backdoor in the file. Classified Backdoor.raid.a

What's up with that?

It will not download for me. Any mirrors?

Any, N0, I'm sure it's a false positive. I can analyze it if you want. Send me a copy of the detected file at traftonofjj2@yahoo.com.

Your virus scanner isn't by any chance AVG?
If so, you shouldn't be worried. It appears that happens alot.

If I'll ever make a tileset again, this'll come in handy again. Thanks TB! Great prog, too lazy to check out the improvements right now..

And weird, I had that too a while ago, AVG found a backdoor in the Pallete Suite exe.

Wootwootwoot. Yay prog. The Fancy Button Image Thingy Converter will come in handy, of course.

I scanned it, nothing harmful found in it, which is good. Yay.

Sorry for reviving this, but shouldnt it be a shame that in 3 years this link still isnt fixed? Any mirrors havent responded, I doubt if anyone is having this program....

Or you could just download it from Disguise's Tileset Recourse (http://tilesets.hewwo.com/). ;)

Hm... I'm sure Disguise has some personal archive around with it hosted. I don't remember its location, though. Might be an idea if someone uploaded it to Jazz2Online (or already has, in which case you may slap me).

I had it a while back, but the partition it was located on decided to suddenly cease existing. So, odds are someone has it. Like Toxic Bunny, perhaps.

quite weird, the link on the page with the counter is broken, but the download DOES start (well, IE only)!

It's almost as if Alister secretly wanted to take all links to Palette Suite down. Hmm..

Anyway, here are some links:

Palette Suite v2.30 (http://www.jazz2online.com/d3/PalSuite-2.30.zip)
Palette Suite v2.31 (http://www.jazz2online.com/d3/PalSuite-2.31.zip)

2.30 is the actually zip while 2.31 is based off what was in a folder. This should be fine for now until Alister fixes his links.

Sorry, I missed this thread when it was last revived.

For future reference, http://www.alister.eu/palsuite/ is the "official" URL for Palette Suite. It has the advantage of actually being in my own domain rather than a friend's ;)

Of course, it currently redirects to http://treacle.hewwo.com/palsuite/. But still.

Anyway, I've just released a new version which fixes PNG palette loading. Viva 2.32!
