Hi!

I have been searching for the S3M:s of the music from the two Holiday Hare games, but I can't find them anywhere on the net. I remember that I downloaded them, and the rest of the Jazz 1 music, from Jazz2City.com a few years ago. Anyone know where I can find these files now?

Talking about Jazz2City, whatever happened to it?

Edit: Fixed some spelling errors...

Heh, found it myself, when I was digging throught some posts at this forum. http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif (here: web.archive.org/web/20000312132144/www.jazz2city.com/music.htm (http://web.archive.org/web/20000312132144/www.jazz2city.com/music.htm))

I throw in another question here, even if it's a bit off-topic http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/images/smilies/smile.gif: In the music-pack with the music from Jazz 1, there's a file called SECRET.S3M. Where is this piece of music used in the game (if it's used at all...). http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/images/smilies/confused.gif

There are three Holiday Hare games. 94, 95, and 98. (99 doesn't count as it's just a copy and paste job)
J2C died a while back because Wakeman couldn't handle it any more.
Isn't Secret.s3m used in the Deserto secret level?

But this HH98 uses the Jazz 2 engine, right? Is it free as the other two?

Thank you so much! It's exactly the one I was looking for!

And yup, it's indeed the one from the Deserto bonus level. :)

Thanks again!

Eh...so there were secret levels at A, B and C! D'oh! That's what I get for having played JJ1 at someone else's house 6 years ago in a rush...

Help, I can't download that thing that plays the music files.

Is there a collection of ALL the Jazz holiday music? From Jazz 1 and 2 and Christmas Chronicles or wherever.

But I am not looking for the secret song, I am looking for the thing that plays this file type. Cause these are in the game's format, not in mp3.

And I wonder where to get all of the holiday music from.

Thanks. :)

The only way you can play the game's music format (j2b) is in the game. Although I you're probably talking about the .mod .it and .s3m formats. Winamp can play these file types, although some people will probably throw rocks and marshmallows at me for saying that, so look into something called ModPlug Player.

And here's some of the holiday music (I think):
<A href= "http://jazz.madskills.org/music/Jazz1Mods/xm2.s3m">xm2.s3m</A>
<A href= "http://jazz.madskills.org/music/Jazz1Mods/xm3.s3m">xm3.s3m</A>
<A href= "http://jazz.madskills.org/music/Jazz1Mods/xmas2.s3m">xmas2.s3m</A>
<A href= "http://jazz.madskills.org/music/Jazz1Mods/xmas3.s3m">xmas3.s3m</A>

Here's the file types my Winamp 2.91 supports: (one added plugin: SNESamp)
CDA, MPG, MPEG, M2V, AVI, ASF, WMV, MID, MIDI, RMI, KAR, MIZ, MOD, MDZ, NST, STM, STZ, S3M, S3Z, IT, ITZ, XM, XMZ, MTM, ULT, 669, FAR, AMF, OKT, PTM, MP3, MP2, MP1, NSV, NSA, SPC, SP1, SP2, SP3, SP4, SP5, SP6, SP7, SP8, SP9, ZST, ZS1, ZS2, ZS3, ZS4, ZS5, ZS6, ZS7, ZS8, ZS9, OGG, WAV, VOC, AU, SND, AIF, AIFF, WMA, M3U, PLS.
There is a reason why Winamp 2 rocks.
