Hello all,
I'm currently working on a 2D platform game and I came upon the huge collection of tilesets. However, I'm not working with any jazz-related products so the files I download are currently pretty useless. I was wondering if there is a way to convert these files to a standard graphics format (I found the megametropolis.gif file very useful..very good quality indeed, I'm looking for more different themes however). Or should I just contact the creators? (Disguise is a little hard to reach by e-mail ;-) ) Thanks in advance for any tips and such.

It's in my JCF profile, can't miss it ;)
There's no way to convert .j2t to an image, if you want images of these tilesets you must:
1) Open them in JCS and take screenshots of the various pieces of the tileset and paste them together in one large image
2) Run a level using the tileset in JJ2, and take a screenshot (in 8bit).
3) Save the palette of the screenshot and load it into the large tileset image you've been putting together.
VOILA!
However, as you say it's not JJ2 relate dI'm not sure if you have JJ2 or not, if you dont theres really no way you can grab the tileset images except for asking the creators if they would be kind enough to give you some :)
I think that pretty much covers it, I still have backups of all my later tilesets, starting with Nature's Ruins to my latest release (Mega Megatropolis). If you need them just ask which ones you want and I'll upload them for ya somewhere, good luck with the game!
P.S. It can suport 4090 tiles? SWEET! :D *dr00ls*

What Disguise said about himself pretty much applies to anyone. There is no known way to turn .j2ts into other images, seeing as you do not claim to have JJ2, JCS, or anything else. That said, if you see a tileset you like, say, through a screenshot, you must contact the author and ask for the source file.
Of course, you should not use any tileset (err... in a seperate game) without the author's permission. A few of them might actually care, you know.

Yeah, what Disguise said.
Btw, if you do use some tilesets from J2O, could you let us know when you're finished with the game, so we can check it out? Heck, even if you don't use any, I'd like to check it out anyways :) .
