How come when I click Party Mode (in the jazz2online site) it brings me to a list of games that are open. Then when I click join it just downloads Jazz2.j2i ? I tryed to open it but it says no app availve to open. I suspect this is because i have the Mac version of JJ2. sigh.

Are you able to join games directly from JJ2? What are your .j2i properties?

I supposed I could. But don't I need an IP address or something?

You would have to change your list server settings for the mac to connect - unfortunately I do not think that it is easy to change the list server and if anyone knows how to do that on the mac they should post it. However, if you open the j2i files in a text editor you should be able to read the IP address and then type that into jj2.
Hope this helps! (I'll also try and see if there are any other known alternatives to doing this)

First of all, download Hostal (2.4 MB) and run it (you'll need an admin password if you use OS X).

Then, enter this in the fields at the bottom of the main window:

Host: list.jazzjackrabbit.com
IP Address: 66.12.88.130
TTL (Days): 0

And click 'Map'. Now enter this:

Host: jazz.logicware.com
IP Address: 80.0.82.178
TTL (Days): 0

Click 'Map'. And finally, enter this:

Host: mail.godgames.com
IP Address: 80.0.82.178
TTL (Days): 0

And click 'Map' one last time.

Now quit Hostal and if you use OS X: open the folder 'For OS X 10.0-10.1 only' and run Mac OS X Activator (you might want to read the information in the same folder first).

That may help you Jamo. In case this is to hard for you, there are other solutions in this thread.

As for you Jazzyman, I think this file may help you. Don't forget to read the readme file!
