Gasp! My top secret project is being revealed! On time too, incredible!

http://www.jazz2online.com/tilesets

Anyways the website is finished now, and you all know that it means I've gone and finished the tutorials section. I know it's late, there's really no good explanation for that except for the obvious: I was too lazy to do it.

Originally I wanted to make the tutorials one section at a time, but later I figured I'll just do it all in one go, it was easier for me that way and I didn't need to check back to see what I've done before. The reason I've been so quiet about it lately is because I really didn't think I would get it finished. I knew it was hard work and I didn't want to dissapoint people if I never got it finished.

Just to give you an idea on how much work was done on this, here's a word count I did (I typed everything out in Word before merging it into the website):

It's big :p

Enjoy the website guys, I won't be making any major updates to it for quite some time. I'm sick and tired of working on the website, so glad I can finally release it. I'm gonna take a loooooooooooooong break now ;)

Lastly, I would like to thank all my betatesters for helping me out. You guys kept me real busy this week.
However, there is one tester that did a simply amazing job. Seriously, the smallest AND the biggest things were being checked, so I would like to give a HUGE THANKS to Labratkid who devoted almost as much time to the website as I did this past week.
I'll reward him for that, Labratkid has won my BEST BETA TESTER AWARD (Oops, did I forget to mention that? ;)) and as a prize I will make a tileset for him, make a tileset with him, make a tileset for somehting he wants, ANYTHING! Whatever he wants I'll do it, just not right away though, I really need to take a break from tileset stuff. Thanks buddy, I'll contact you on AIM or something so we can discuss this :D

Oh yeah.
And I agree with Shad.
I'll be more specific when I've checked it out... sometime.

Woah, wait... Layer 5's scrolling properties affect layer 8? That's bad... but it doesn't happen for me

I've had layers 5 and 8 going in opposite directions with no problem, although the layer 5 properties do seem to take over when the game is paused... no choppiness. If it depends on the graphics hardware being used, then it seems like that would only affect hardware mode rendering. Software rendering should look the same on any computer, shouldn't it?

Or maybe it doesn't get choppy if the directions are opposite? I think I'm confused now.

Umm... yeah, I can send you my comments. I didn't know you wanted them so soon. :)

I recived no messages on what to betatest, so I had betatested nothing.

I was definitely expecting something about "Hidden Mask Messages" in the tutorial, and I was right.
