Check this dusty unopened rarity I found in my grandfather's basement!
It's bought in 1995 in a shop named either Fona or Merlin in a town called Silkeborg in Denmark, Europe for one Danish Krone (about 16 U.S. cents).

Since the forum won't accept my filesizes, I have uploaded these to my frac.dk account. I will only keep them up for a limited time (one week or something), so download them while you can!!

Let's call that hotline to see whether they still have copies of that disk. ;-)

"SHAREWARE GAME ON BASF HIGH QUALITY DiSK" Why is the I not capitalized with the rest of the letters?

Misprint?

It must not have been mass produced, or that error would have been fixed right away.

Maybe not to confuse it with the letter "L", but why are the other "I"s then capitalized?
By the way, BASF changed name to Emtec in 2000.

Mother of mercy that is a slow fileserver. After 5 minutes, I've loaded about 1/3 of the first image, and no it's not my connection. :p

LOL! Yeah sometimes it is slow, but it's actually often fast for my 512/128 DSL connection. Took 1½ minute to upload.

INTERESTING LITTLE THANGY :-D

Well, I'm checkin' this out and BOY does it look bootleg!

Points of bootlegyness that should be suspected:

-no (TM) on JJ logo
-wheres Epic Games logo? (might have been liscensed to "Allgames")
-SHAREWARE GAMES are FREEEEEEEEEE :O
-could be a writable floppy, with ink printed on protective flap
-whys JJ logo pink?
-the box is written in more than 1 language, which is NOT seen on regular JJ boxes.
-Jazz is missing from the box.

It is always good to check the f|oppy to check for bootleggyness

....or it could be real. You decide!

DOH! Maybe that language thing is because it's bought in DENMARK. Crap country with a population of less than 6 million people.
The hotline has a Danish phone number. (+45)
I have money enough on my bank account to buy 6000 of them if I want to.
And... I don't think they sell shareware anymore, you download demos off official game sites now.

A few notes here:

1. Coolness!! Nice old stuff.

2. If i remember correctly, i had the floppy version of JJ1, too. And i could bite my (butt) off, because i sold it after i bought the CD version. Don't remember too good, though.

3. BASF is german. We own you.

4. Pie.
