Is it just me, or is there a 1.25 forum now? Hmm...

From what I have heard, they obtained the source code and are making an unofficial patch. Sounds good to me.

Man, I wish I knew C+ and stuff. I wanted more server options in Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and use strange letters easier. Though maybe I could understand the script, since I wanted to search for hexadecimal values and adjust them.

They haven't obtained any sourcecodes yet. In fact, we can't be sure that we will, as of now; they still have to decide.

Hopefully, it will be obtained, though. Let's all hope for the best. ;-P

I want to be allowed in that forum too... but I know nothing about programming.

Sorry, you don't have a chance.

But I really want to edit the decimal or hexadecimal values in Jazz2.exe

If you want to, do it! It's really easy to obtain a hex editor, and it is easy to learn how to use them too. You can have a lot of fun with them.

Read j2o for the news. We don't have the sourcecode yet.

I've already have a hex editor. But this is different. I don't know much about raw assembly language. But the source code will help since I'll see some English, understandable words and I will be able to locate what I'm looking for.

The sourcecode, if released, will probably be available to all. (I'm pretty sure, anyway).

The council is responsible to make the "main" version of JJ2, keeping everyone and everything compatible with each other. (If each person or different groups made they're own JJ2, they'd be incompatible and you wouldn't be able to play against one another).

If you want to make or suggest a change, just ask or something. If the source gets released, that is.

I have so many ideas that I can't remember any of them anymore.

Shhht Kazooie, he didn't mean it by that. He just thought because you don't know any C(++) you would get rejected automaticly.

I'm not saying everyone is stupid. Not everyone knows C++. It's like when people don't know how to build a computer, they're not stupid.

You can't access the special 1.25 topic unless you contact Frank Quist and tell that you have experience with C++, or whatever language the source is.

Okay, here's a better example http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

reading/writing a source code is as hard as

reading/writing a document in Japanese http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Anyone know Japanese? No; so are we stupid? No!

So could we enter a Japanese writing forum? Not a chance. We need to be experienced http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
