I have a router, I can host ;D. Its pretty easy then you get to know how to do it. It's hard to explain though, just look back through some of the threads in Technical Help.

You have to open ports 10052~ or something.

i got the same router as you and i set jj2 up fine with little trouble

This is how i did it:
1st its best to give your pc a static ip on your lan so it dont change when you re start. to do this go to the propoties of your network card, then tcp/ip propoties and enter the following information see in the pic (dont need to have the same ip)

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/david.hill56/jazz2/routersetup/ip.JPG

Go to your routers config page which should be http://192.168.1.1 and enter your password (if you have never done it before its admin, and there is no username by default)

once you in click on applications and gaming and foward ports 10052 and 10054 to the ip address of your pc then you should have something like this:

Next go to the security section and make sure "Block Anonymous Internet Requests " is NOT ticked, this will allow people to ping you and hopefully let them join your servers. (leave the firewall on for your protection :))

Hope it now works for you :)!

It's actually only necessary to forward port 10052 (though still both TCP and UDP). Ports 10053 and 10054 are always outgoing connections (even when you're hosting).
