OK, so I spent 2 days looking for any hint or help or walkthrough to help me with QoB, but my attempts were futile.
I remember spending a week in the caves looking for the crystal about a year ago when I got so frustrated I deleted the whole game. Now as I felt the call of QoB again, after completing the normal SF levels, I played it again. And I'm (mad) again!
As before, I searched the caves, buttstomped the blue cube in the caves, proceded to the part where you go after you destroy the crystal and got locked in again.
I tried using the macro but jazz stoppes after unlocking the first (white) bar.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I'm desperate!

The blue cube isn't the crystal. Try shooting and/or buttstomping (don't remember exactly what it was, but one of these should work. edit: just checked this: buttstomp at the bottom of the right path under the blue block, then shoot the blocks on your right, then buttstomp the other blue block) in the area below it, and you'll get access to another room, where you should find a "multicolored tzarin gem" (or something like that) which is the thing you should destroy. If you go to the part that mentions destroying the crystal now, you'll still get locked in, but the part behind it, called "red rock cave", will be open now.

OK, I found the crystyal room, but the only thing I can shoot/buttstomp there is the green half of the half green-half blue ball. After shooting/buttstomping around the room, I go out of the caves, but again there are a blue and a red block when I fall down the hallway, I shoot the wall again and it again teleports me to my death. Is there anything else to destroy in the crystal room, and how do I go about that?
Much obliged!

I saw a macro in the downloads section of J2O that shows how to beat it. I haven't tried it, but it just might be better than a walkthrough.

The blue half of the gem can be destroyed as well. It works when I sidekick the whole thing and hop into the area behind it to make sure the trigger gets activated.

Queen of Board, actually.
One of the hardest packs ever made, and even if you manage to find your way out of the miles long level, the final boss (several Bilsies at once ) is far beyond being a "challenge". =P

Not many people know this. But the creator was such a genius that he put his own cheatcode into it.
Here it is: For the First time ever: Can only be used in QoB:

You're not 1337 in QoB until you get the duke nukem level ;)
Anyways, first level is uhhh, the ending is fake, you actually end the level at a supposed 'bonus stage'.
I haven't played t in ages, but I'll give you a small idea on how to finish it.
1) Open up the cave of the crystal by a scenery trigger event somewhere in the top-right of the level.
2) Spend hours in the mine maze at the top-left and finally buttstomp the blue crystal.
3) Go back somewhere towards the bottom-left and buttstomp a crate in a small room after going through the passages up north (the ones where you keep teleporting back to the start, but keep on trying you'll get into a room eventually)
4) Go to the bottom-right of the level, you can now pass without dying and you'll end up being in coloury caves.
5) Go through the coloury caves, at the end you'll get to a point with a lot of tunnels, choose the right one each time or die (takes a while, I can't remember the cobination).
6) You'll go through a passage with a few TNT ammo, DON'T EVER USE THIS AMMO, not even ONE! You need it at the ending credits to access the secret duke nukem level...
7) You're now inside a huge fat invisible maze, spend 2 years of your life trying to figure out what it's like and break two crates inside it.
TIP: You're never actually stuck even though it seems like it, just keep trying to jump up at different places and you'll get un-stuck eventually
8) Once you break the two crates go through a large tunnel passage of sucker tubes that lead outside of the invisible maze (by doing step 7 you should've found it already)
9) You finished the level, cheer, next level is easy, the one after that is just a large kill-fest, nothing that really needs a walk-through...
Don't kill me if somehting is wrong, I haven't played QoB in years :p

And then I never played it again and always wondered "Why the heck did Deth and Jeh make these levels in the first place?"
I still don't know the answer.

Hi there!
I have read all the topics about the Queen Of Board level..The discussion was 3 or more years ago:( I still hope that there could be anyone who can help me to complete that level!
There were some details of the level described. The only thing I cannot find wasn't well described..Actually was missing.
Well, the last help given to me while playing was to find the secret warp in the caves of T'zar. I found two warps, where was nothing but useless springs. I have read in the forum that freezing ammo is needed for the springs. So, where can I find this? I have read about a secret teleport approximately in the place, where it is written that you must have destroyed the caves of T'zarin, otherwise you'll be killed or something. I have found a secret in a wall, where is a teleport, sending me to the stairs, which walls kill.
What can I do?
Thanks to everyone, who helps me!

I don't know the password, cannot hack it(have no idea how to do this) and really need that kind of detail, where the ice ammo is...I can cheate, that's not my point.(can you tell me how to hack or find the password?!)
Something more: is there anyone who can tell me how to go through that maze, where everything is...covered, you cannot see where you are going?
There must be a cracked version of QOB where the maze is easier..?
I guess many of these people, who have written in the forum three years ago, are no longer members or maybe just are not interested in writing here anymore... aren't they?
And again, please, everyone, help me! I cannot go on by myself! I tried so hard ans I am so curious...

To hack the password from lvl is very easy if you know hex.
But mostly used metod is to get the special version of JCS that can open passworded lvl's ;)
And about the QoB i never finished it i reach the unseen maze and i quit playing because was very frustrating ....
To reach the unseen maze took me 3 days ...

Actually, what's next? After the maze? Is it the end of the level? Just to find a teleport? What happens when all the doors are open and enter in that kind of room?

Thank you! I've downloaded the program and have seen what to do! I made it... :D
But there is something that I still don't get: where should be the end of the level?
When you complete the covered with something maze you finish the level. WHAT ABOUT THE DOORS?
And I, years ago, cheated to see what happens beyond the closed doors, which I should open(I could not and could not complete the level or open more than 2 doors and finely surrender and decided that I will never see what happens in other way)...I wrote nowall and fly and saw a boss, to devils to be correct.
Well, how I am supposed to get there without cheating? Where should the level end?
Why have I tried so many years to see what happens when all the doors are open and at the end ...what?! I have to cheat (again) to see!
I am so disappointed.
So, do you know how I, can find all the secrets and go to the doors instead of going to eat chocolate and die of diabetes in the stupind and senceless bonus level?
And anyone, if you share my angry opinion, please mumble with me :D
The last thing I want to say is that I actually love this level the most. I enjoyed it, spent a few years to complete it and feel clever and proud with myself now. It was insane, absurd made me feel really lovely and betrayed from the one who made the level :D There si no other game ot level, which can make it..

Sep 1, 2008, 02:08 AM
yeah, thanks, it should be so, but ... I don't get the reason that it is made in that way. There is no sence to be done in that way.. Why are there guns or ammo to be taken then :D During the whole level it made me really curious to open the doors and then I could not see what happens. It made me VERY disappointed.
In my oppinion, that should not be the effect on the player!Never!
And still there is something that makes me love that level...
The best way to end the level is the following (that's only how I think!): you exit the maze and there, where normally the level ends is a teleport to the opened doors, where you can beat the boss!
Don't you agree?
Xobim
Sep 1, 2008, 02:47 AM
Nah, that doesn't fit the style of the level. The player thinks he is on his right track when he finds the maze, but gets distracted when he hears about the super secrets, which are the only way to finish the level. He still thinks there is a way to open the red door, and will replay the level, which is the whole idea...
And besides that, finally getting to the two bilsys will most likely get you killed, meaning you have to start the level all over again...
DarKniA
Sep 1, 2008, 11:45 AM
Yeah, guess you are right, but if it is all about confusion, why the red door cannot be opened normally and at the same time there are the devils? Is that only for the cheaters to be confused and to make them try to complete the level? To make them all curious?
And are you 100% sure that there is no normal way to reach the devils?
It's freaky...That's why I like it I guess...
BTW. I have a map of the blind maze. Can send it if someone is interested:)

Got to point 1 on the map and get some ice powerups (roughly 304, 241) {press f9 for coordinates}
Go to point 2 on the map (roughly 292, 251) and shoot the block(maybe TNT?) then freeze the spring to get by. If you waste your freezers more are avaiable at the very far right zagged silver wall of the main QoB area (roughly 451, 340)

Currently I am stuck at the sucker tube part. They tell me to go save the game, but each time I save my game in this level, JJ2 crashes and my save file goes corrupt. I'd love it if someone could give me the order in which I have to go through the tubes.

You're not actually supposed to save. The makers of this level knew that it would crash the game and couldn't be loaded because it was too big. As for the order, I remember at one point there were a series of tubes into warps which were designed so the last one you entered would warp you out, regardless of the order.
However, I would strongly suggest you simply don't play QoB. It's frustrating, the gameplay is awful, and (in my opinion) the tileset isn't even that good.

If I remember good (and I do), the order will be down-up-down-down, but if you want to be sure, just search in YouTube. I'm sure there are some walkthroughs because I used one of them to find the second Super Secret.
