#jj2.musicbox is a channel made specifically for showing off what you're currently listening to. Before this channel existed, some people would use mp3 and Now-Playing scripts in #jj2. Some other people disliked seeing what these people were listening to all the time, and there was some light conflict. With the creation and adoption of #jj2.musibox, any use of mp3 and Now-Playing scripts in #jj2 is stongly urged to be moved into #jj2.musicbox.

#jj2.musicbox isn't necessarily a channel only to be used for script output -- it's also a good place to hold conversations about music and what people are listening to.

This channel was also the final battleground of Xion, as he was banned at the time from #jj2, when he deicded to leave QuakeNet altogether for another IRC network.
