| "FIX0RS TEH JAZZ JACKRABBIT" is a fairly intelligent phrase that was used to indicate how much the fans of the Jazz Jackrabbit video games disliked the new look of their hero in the game "Jazz Jackrabbit Advance", which was published by Jaleco, developed by Game Titan, licensed by Epic Games and was meant to be played the the Game Boy Advance handheld gaming console by Nintendo. When a topic (see 1) containing information about the new game was opened on The JCF many fans though the new look was either a "Han Solo ripoff", "gay", or even "not jazz". Jazz, unlike in his earlier adventures, wore clothes, a han-solo's-gun-like gun, and did not have a headband. Members such as Spaztic, Veggieman and Dark Moogoo started editing images so that they suddenly wore a "FI><ORS TEH JAZZ JACKRABBIT!!!" text or something of the same meaning, like "NO BANDANA, NO JAZZ". An example can be found here. The #jj2 origins of this phrase are not know by the author. Further information on this is greatly appreciated. |
