When last we posted about Ori and the Blind Forest, that pretty platformer game from et and EvilMike (and some other people), it had literally just come out. Most of the comments were either surprise at the news, initial impressions based on screenshots or videos, or discussion of finances in other countries.

But it’s been a while! Have you played it by now? Do you agree with what Steam calls its “Overwhelmingly Positive” reception? And if you don’t have it, it’s on sale for 40% off and will be for the next thirty-eight or so lots and lots of hours, so I guess now’s your chance.

(Noogy’s Dust, meanwhile, is a whole 66% off, bringing it down to just five bucks.)

Also, Freedom Planet is 70% off now for 32 hours or so. I haven’t bought it and Ori yet. Too many games too little time.

Freedom Planet is the only one of the three my computer actually runs :#

How do I remove a comment ._.

Seems like I convinced myself to buy Ori and Freedom Planet since I eventually want to play them anyway. So why not at the cheapest price. :P

Definately not news worthy, but…

(Vinesauce – Joel) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AWbDSb0hHU – 24:53 – “Don’t you dare ahem put Jazz Jackrabbit into the failed abortions of mascots of the ’90s. Don’t do that, don’t do that, nu-uh. Jazz Jackrabbit is a (x3) good character. He might have had the fast Sonic thing, but Jazz Jackrabbit was on its own ahem league. Don’t ahem demedal (?) Jazz’s good name”

I personally love Joel and it’s a honor (at least for me) that he mentioned Jazz Jackrabbit. I hope he’ll stream Jazz Jackrabbit on one of the “Hardcore Fridays”. Anyways.

So that’s where EvilMike disappeared off to… Well, glad to know he’s still putting his creativity to use :)

Also I played it at a friend’s house, I was surprised to see it posted about here. It was pretty damn cool.

Wow, I am impressed EVILMIKE (if you read this junk anymore) and one day I’ll probably be proud to call some members of some major gaming companies “old friends.” I might have to get my wife your game. She likes “cute” games like that.

Also shout out & congrats to Anaiyu (if you dont know who that is never mind, you’re a noob) who is an artist on a game that is (not yet) available on Steam, but will be :)
