Battery Check videos are few and far between, but here’s one from last month that gives some… interesting… context at the start of the video.

(Battery Check, as you know, is freeware nowadays.)

>Battery Check is freeware
>Jazz 2 isn’t

Come on, Epic…

Stijn on 6 Jul 2015 at 10:57

Epic had nothing to do with Battery Check.

Primpy on 6 Jul 2015 at 16:06

^ I know. It’s just the fact that a game that appeared after JJ2 (It did appear after, right?) became a freeware already.

Slaz on 6 Jul 2015 at 16:17

Nope, Battery Check was released before Jazz2. Orange Games supplied the engine and supported the development of it while working on Jazz2, that’s about the only thing they had in common.

^ Oh, I see. Thanks for the informations, I really do apreciate.

At least Xargon is freeware ;)

Roobar on 7 Jul 2015 at 04:15

And what’s with Xargon all of a sudden?

Slaz on 7 Jul 2015 at 15:01

The fact that Epic at least understands what freeware is.

Roobar on 7 Jul 2015 at 15:33

Yeah, but nobody knows about Xargon and Battery Check, whereas Jazz Jackrabbit is much more popular and advanced than both combined, thus making it much more appealing and precious to own it for potential profit.
