At last my best tileset yet which I\‘ve been testing and making all this time (since middle 2001!). The tileset has 640 tiles (64 rows X 10 tiles), a textured background, vine, spikes, poles (tooken from castle one), ramps, \‘cave\’ and more. Some eye-candy but not much.
The red X\‘s are just showing the un-used tiles which arn\‘t usedwith a reason: to make it simpler for user (so don\‘t lower my rating for bad sapce usage). Electric helped me testing but I did the main test of all masks ect..
The resource of my images is (for now) un-told but my next good tileset will tell you probably. (it\‘s expected in 5 months because of my lazyness). ENJOY!
EDIT: Fixed the skull mask.
Wow- this IS good. The tileset is so good-looking, it looks like a REAL crypt. Good job!
The whole set breathes a dark, gloomy atmosphere, nice for scary levels. Also, Nitro added some funny elements such as skullheads and gravestones. Too bad he didn’t include more eyecandy, it would have been even better! (Maybe an idea for a version 2?)
There is only one small mask bug – the big pile of skullheads has a small dot in it, so you can get stuck at it, but you can easily delete this bug, just by placing the pile on another layer.
A 9.0 – very good tileset, but a lack of eyecandy. Everyone should download this NOW. (argh, Nitro – failed again to get above a 9 here eh ;))
Cool!
Funny!
(My Euro: it´s bad, i trying how to come on J2o :P)
Stuffness. This tileset is nice. It has a very detailed, realictic looking layout and dark stuff. It contains stuff to make platforms with, cave stuff, poles, hurts, vines, text signs, CTF signs, Skulls, backgrouns mountains, a textured background, and that’s it. Altough this may sound as a big list of stuff used, i find the tileset pretty boring. Must be me, but that lowers my rating. However, the layout looks really “proffesional” and detailed, with stuff. The texttured background doesn’t look to textured to me when I played the level, but that could be my monitor setting. Anyway, this stuff deserves a fat 7.5. Downlaod this, if you like stuff.
EDIT: I shouldn’t take points off for boring? Why not? When a set is boring, a level that you make with it is boring, and boring levels are boring :). Anyway, I’ll add 0,5 points to my rating. Now it’s an 8,0, okay?
BTW: I’m Fl@$h, not Flash. Always add the and the $, please.[This review has been edited by Fl

This is Good Tileset. It looks like someone take a picture from some rocks…and converted them to jcs. But it isnt, i think the author have made it by him self(And thats pretty Neat). The eye-candy is not so much, and its dark…there is too much blackness in the tileset. Don`t forget this, the tileset is kinda empty. I mean there is not much extra stuff in it, like animated things ore strange rocks… The rocks in the tileset have all the same look. There is in all of them some blackness and other similiar colours, you may could make some grass on them for a example…to make it more striking. Ore some special ground to walk on, and not on the blocks….because it looks like your walking yust on the rock. But I know there are special tiles to use it as a ground, but it has same colours like the rocks. But this Tileset is Cool. It deserves atleast a 8.5
A Download Recommendation!

Edit: I know what’s a crypt Nitro…:)
But it was yust a example about that gras.
I didn’t told you to do that.

I’m not going to rate this just yet, but it looks like a 9.0 or higher.
Nitro, did you draw all those huge stone blocks (most likely using various paint program tools) or did you copy them? Your answer shall certainly influence my rating.
your tileset is sweet!
the example level is cool, it shows usage of multiplayer, and single player games. I like this one.
Wow! I’m impressed Nitro, very nice tileset. The tiles are very detailed and there’s some good tiles for eyecandy (the skulls look cool). The brick-texture is very realistic and there are the red/blue base tiles which just add the extra touch for multiplayer. Very nice tileset. DL recommendation: Get this.
I’m not really much of a tileset reviewer, so I’ll keep this short. This tileset is well masked, and has most of the tiles a good set needs. I would like to see some smaller tiles for platforms that can also be used for destruct scenery.
I like how this set is so dark. I’m going to use this one.
Probably nitro’s best tileset so far. I helped him beta-test a level we made with it. The tiles dont allign that much, but when u play it looks really cool. Definitly a download recomendation. The tilesets a bit hard to use, but once u figure it out its actually pretty easy compared to even carrotus.
A very nice tileset. It has a cool, realistic look. Masking is well done, the only masking bug has been fixed to my satisfaction. I like the looks of this set. Like i mentioned before, almost everything looks very realistic, except those writings on the stones, they look like they are plain new, while the rest of the tiles looks like a few million year old crypt. Some tiles where ripped from oficial sets, like the grave stones from “Haunted House”(TSF), and the poles. The piles of skulls look pretty good. I would have liked tiles wich can make bigger piles of skulls, or a big, moving(animations!), creepy skeleton. The background mountians look pretty dull. Could have been done much beter. Its hard to fit some tiles together, but once you get the hang of it, it will look realy cool. This tileset has a lot of uses. One downfall is that you cant realy get spectacular eyecandy out of it, compared to some of the other sets i’ve seen in my time. More thing for creating eyecandy would have defenitly raised my rating. The example level is pretty nice too. I would say that you COULD have filled it with some ammo and 2 CTF bases or thing like that, to make it playable online. I must say that i realy like this set, and that i will use it in a level soon. Here, catch this. A 7.5.
Wow !
Nice tileset, man !!
Nice eyecandy, H/V poles, but u could’ve put destruct sceneries though…think about it for a newer version. But it’s realy good !
I can’t wait to see your new TST.
And I have a question :
U’ve made this TST in 16 bit colour, right ?
Wich drawing program did u use, and if it’s Bitmap files, how did u do that ? I’ve to work in 8 bit colours, so drawing possibilities are very low…And I can’t build my TST when it’s in 16 bit colours…
Anyway… nice TST…Good job…I rate this : 9.5
Wow! Coolness! I think I will use this one. The only problem with it is that there isn’t enough eyecandy amd stuff. Also that mask glitch in the pile of skulls.
Sweet tileset. The tiles are high quality, but there aren’t enough. I like this tileset Nitro, why don’t you make more tilesets?
Awesome tileset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, I like the sweet graphics but there could be more like traps and spikes and coffins but all but that it is auesome!
Awesome graphics!!
Download recommedation!
Interesting. The tileset is very nice looking, but has some things which downgrade the rating a bit. The textureness is good in some tiles and ok in others. Generally its good. The color, it reminds me of a crypt, but there is a small variety in the color here, and most of it is dark which makes it a bit hard to see >(. There aree poles (ripped), text signs, vines, some additional eyecandy stuff like skeletons and gravestones, some CTF signs (blue base, red base and some arrows), I can’t find destruct blocks, but im probably just blind. Most of it looks real, but the tileset is lacking animations and some other tiles which would go really good here (like bloody spikes and more crypt stuff, maybe even a mummy). I don’t feel like typing out a long review, so I’ll just summarize the tileset in a few words: Realistic and wel-textured, but lacks more tiles and could be easily improved. If this was a little better, I’d give this an 8, but 7.7 for now. Download reccomendation and stuff.
IT IS GOOD BUT A BIT TO REALISTIC FOR ME

Rating Crypt:
Rating:
Not the best tileset I’ve ever seen. It is almost 100% brown and pretty hard to use.
The example-level is also bad. Good example levels are small Single Player-levels with enemies. On that way I can see how I must use the tileset.
But the orginality is not bad. I have never seen a JJ2-tileset into a crypt.
Conclusion:
Despite the orginality this tileset is still one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Too brown, too inpractical and no good example-level.
So, I can’t give you any higher than a 1. Sorry.
Mark: 1,0
Download recommendation: NO!
(Rating removal. While J2O does allow you to give ratings significantly different from the average, the policy requires that you support your position in somewhat more detail than is required for an average review, as you have more to prove than simply “I agree with everyone else”. In any case, your points basically amount to “this tileset is brown” and “I’m not sure how to use it”, the latter of which is weird because the tileset is mostly large blocks without much assembly required… meanwhile, basing ratings on example levels is forbidden. ~Violet)
