Whoa very nice tileset by the NewSpaz. Not too many tiles but i dont see any useless tiles. Some animating tiles would be nice though, but can’t really complain about this one. Also the author added an example level (which could be a bit better) but overall a very nice tileset :-)

Hm.
Unfinished example level. No music and no name. You should make a battle/CTF/single player level with this tileset and then send the whole pack here.
Tileset is not very beautiful. Lots of empty tiles. Newspaz has also copied graphics from original Jazz2 tilesets.
I think this is still pretty nice tileset. Good work, Newspaz!

Exactly, Newspaz. Although you don’t need to “shout” :p

That’s why I’m not going to release my future tilesets here (if I ever finish them). (Don’t get me wrong… I love J2O and the download section. It’s just I really don’t like people whining about an example level for a tileset).

Anyhoo.

This tileset is quite nice. I just wish that there were working textured background(s) and a bit more scenery, etc.. Plus there are some useful tiles which are missing (Shoot’em blocks, etc..).

A good tileset by NewSpaz. Since you don’t like me bickering about an example level, I won’t. ;-)

I like the way the snow looks (sorta has a 3d effect), and the example level shows a few decent ways to use this set. The gingerbread guys sorta look like they were copied from the JJ1 set, but oh well.

Since I don’t use custom sets, I’m not going to use this set. But all you tileset fans should get this. :-)

Not bad, this tileset. It features some snowy landscapes and some additional christmas goodies.
I don’t care if you want to hear my opinion on the example level: Its unfinished and it doesnt look very good. You should have spent more time on that.
Apart from that, i don’t have much to say here. It is a good tileset that everyone should download for christmas and make a level or two out of it.

I myself wouldn’t build a level with this, but it looks like something someone would build with. Good job NewSpaz.

A nice set. I am not going to rate it according to the example level. An example level only has one function: to show the user how to use the set. Even if it is tiny or unfinished i don’t care at all. Some people make these huge example levels (like me :) with less than half of the tiles and the functions they perform, in my case that is the wrong way to make an example set. It’s a nice set, has a gradiency and various textures to add that extra bit of realism some of us don’t dare to touch ;)
One thing that would’ve been nice is to make extra tiles to connect the vine and trees, also tiles that connect the dark background thingy to the platforms you walk on. There might still be people out there that play in low detail, and using extra layers apart from 3 and 4 will make it look buggy for the ppl who are in low detail, it will also ‘limit’ the level for those level designers who like to use every layer to the ultimate in graphics and detail :)

Great tileset; functional as well as good-looking.
Ideas for a future version; santa, elves and houses…

Even though it’s October, I’m already in a sesonal mood (think Santa Claus meets the grim reaper) so I decided to go a’trick-or-treating for some X-Mas sets to start the holidays with style and found this. Overall, it’s a pretty good tileset. It features (duh) a Christmas theme, which is done well, but not nearly as well as in the default Christmas tile sets from Holiday Hare. It features some nice trees, decorations, etcetera that really remind me of Christmas. This certainally is a present of a tile set. If I make any more Christmas puns, shoot me, but download this tileset immediately. Your tree will thank you. BAM!
