Right, I will be as positive as I can in this review as negativity is NOT allowed.

This level needs A LOT of work.

EYECANDY: Not good. Backgrounds look really bad. Most of the tiles are just randomly thrown together. This looks like it was made in less than 5 minutes. 1/10

GAMEPLAY: You start off by going in the water and then you turn into a Frog for about 10 seconds (what’s the point?). The only thing to do then in this level is get to an exit that is underwater in what looks like a badly drawn nose. 1/10

TILESET USE: Very badly used. You used about 7 tiles out of the WHOLE set. The background was badly made, you can see lines on it. 1/10

ENEMIES: There was a lot but most of them were in that “Prize Walkway” as n00b puts it. Badly placed. A Caterpillar under water?! What the…? 1/10

OBSTACLES: There was warps blocking off the so called “Prize Walkway.” There are about 4 or 5 warps that will warp you back to the beginning but that’s not enough. 1/10

PICKUPS: Hundreds of useless weapons can be found in this level. There are LOTS of 1UPs in the level which are NOT needed. The placement of the items is bad. 1/10

LAYER USE: Only Layers 3, 4 & 8 were used. Layer 3 was barely used to put in the stairs and one hidden passage to some useless Seeker ammo. Layer 4 contains lots of unecessary events including Sucker Tubes. Layer 8 is NOT good, the background was very badly put in. 1/10

DIFFICULTY: It was too easy, not enough enemies or obstacles. 1/10

TOTAL: 8/80 (1.0)
How do you do ratings under 1.0? I thought that was impossible. I typed it in the textbox and it said invalid. Looks like ratings under 1 have been removed.

Moving on.

DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATION?

No.

ADVICE: You cannot make a good level this quickly. You need to use more tiles. Try to vary what you use out of the Tileset. Using the same tiles will make the level repetitive. Also, try to make the level longer, you don’t need to use the default 256×64 size. Change this by going into “Layer Properties.”

The Sad Beach… Well, the name is very good for it

STORY:
The level had no story. You don’t know why are you playing as Jazz/Spaz/Lori(if TSF) But there were places where you did not want to know about it’s story.1/10

EYECANDY:The eyecandy was horrible! It was like a place where you didn’t know where to go.1/10

GAMEPLAY:
The gameplay was awful, and those warps had no sense al all!they warp you in who knows places and those smokes were annoying.1/10

PLACEMENT:
It was an very large no of seekers 1ups and shield generators and they were totally unuseful because : I got 243 lives when i got bored of collecting 1ups and i did not need to use any of them. The enemy no was small, and what’s with the caterpillar under water?! 1/10

DIFICULTIES:
It had dificulties. other than normal In hard mode in that place where are those fishes, in HM there are LOTS OF THEM AND respawning as well 1/10

TILESET USE:
The tileset use was awful! You used kinda 6 tiles of all set.1/10

LAYERS:
The layers 1 2 3 5 were unused and layer 4 and 8 barley used. 1/10

SCORE:average.0,3

DOWNLOAD RECOMANDATION: NO!
sorry 7,3/80 = 0.9 , 1

As I’m really unsure how to rate this somehow unusual level, I’ll use something different this time. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there’s a level which doesn’t even deserve a 1 for god’s sake.

Layer 1
Empty and unused.
Layer 2
Empty and unused.
Layer 3
Being barely used, doesn’t help out awful layer 4 eyecandy.
Layer 4
Being a bizarre mix of tiles, Layer 4 doesn’t really feature anything. It has some wooden parts used at the beginning(with severe event misuse and overuse), and then comes “fun” part – swimming in water across awfully awful sand blocks which don’t even manage to look good being split off themselves. At the very left of the level, there’s an ugly face (made out of sand as well. gg), which you must touch to make this level go ka-boom. Not really fun, unlike the author stated.
Layer 5
Empty and unused.
Layer 6
Empty and unused.
Layer 7
Empty and unused.
Layer 8
Random combination of blocks which do not tile with eachother. As author barely knows anything about layer resizing, layer 8 remains at its default size which is 10 tiles x 7 tiles and looks awful. gg.

This isn’t a fun level. Why? Here’s how you play it: To start off, you begin on a poorly-drawn boardwalk and then have to go through water as a frog. When you emerge, you’ll see this big area full of enemies and stuff, and the TNT spells out [insert vulgar language here]. Then you need to go through this badly constructed sand area with a few enemies and the end is this face with “seaweed” coming out of its nose.
Fun? No.
Host in coop? Absolutely not.
A sad beach? Very.

The Sad Beach? Definatly fitting…
“..A fun level.” Definatly not.
In the water theres randomly placed tiles that look like (I dont think the J2O admins want me to say that word). The textured backround isnt even set to be a textured backround, and its out of place anyway. You pointlessly change into a frog and then back to Jazz when you swim from fishes (that instantly respawn when killed) to turtle. then go through a set of poles and a row of 1ups above you. above that theres some unereachabe ammo, a bird, and some crabs. after the row of poles theres a shield just sitting there (even though yu just killed everything possible). In the water theres an area of floating springs, a timer, and a few seeks or rfs or something. And of course, as Cooba said, a hatter, caterpiller, dragon, and bat call “cheeseland” home. I feel bad for them.
EDIT: I forgot to include that you pointlessly added the beach j2b and j2t that are included with jj2, along with beach2 that isnt even used

Rating: It should be lower than 1, but it cant be. So 1.
DL: NO!
Host as Coop: You’d need to DL it first, so no.

If the lone ranger had access to this level during his radio programs, there would be enough here to feed his horses. I am sorry to say that it is a bad level, but certainly not the worst I’ve ever seen. You get the gist of what it is above, so I’ll just get down to business.

Problems:

1) The background was completely off, it is very clear that the creator has little grasp over how to use the editor properly. Only two layers were used, three and four (I found no evidence of three however).

2) There are a lot of events and objects that are there just for the sake of being there. It’s a party of nonsensical sprites being slapped together for no reason. By this I mean that there are a series of enemies and powerups in a place that is completely blocked off.

3) Still buggy. The level beings with a text warning that using the JJK cheat will be necessary if you get stuck, meaning the creator was aware that you were going to do so, but didn’t do a thing about it.

This level is incomplete at best. I hope to the good Lord that this does not demonstrate the author’s full potential.

This is the world’s worst level, next to Voldard’s Treasure Jungel. For that, you get a 10. GG, man. GG.
