Description

Here’s my new Jazz1 set. It has everything the real set has. Remember: This is a “Tileset” not a “Example level” The “Example level” is just to let you show how to use the tiles. I use the type: “Tileset” so you rate the “Tileset” and not the “Example Level”

Good job, Newspaz! This is a great Tileset! It has many cool tiles and it’s masked very well (IMO). Not many to add. I wouldn’t say anything about the example level (as you asked)

Wow, it’s really cool, you can make good levels out of it, the tileset is (like Flash said) good masks and has enough tiles for making eyecandy, especcialy I like the animating tiles you can make out ouf it.

Good! Very good! This tileset contains about 240 tiles converted from the original Jazz1 “Technoir” planet. It offers many objects for level building like tubes, animated belts, arrows, lava(?) and some other useful stuff.
The example level is disappointing (fortunately the very cool original music song2.s3m is included). Btw: I will rate like i feel its appropiate and in my opinion a good tileset needs a proper example level, no matter what “type” it is. End of story. Thanks.

Overall, a great download for all talented level builders and A REAL MUST for every Jazz1 oldie! :-)[This review has been edited by Aiko]

. . . Now approching Technoir . . . Wow, this is a great tileset! It is not too hard to work with, but has enough tiles to make a good level. It has a good varity of “useful” tiles and “eyecandy” tiles. If there is ANYONE out there who likes to make levels, DOWNLOAD THIS NOW!

Vewwy nice.

Has a fair share of tiles, is a pretty good conversion and with a little work you could make a pretty nice level with it.

Btw NewSpaz, AWFUL EXAMPLE LEVEL! IT’S SO SMALL AND HAS A WRONG NEXT LEVEL SETTING!

Ehh, nah, I take that back. ;-P

Overall worth a d/l, especially if you like JJ1 (like I do).[This review has been edited by Genotoxin aka iCeD]

OK, the critic has arrived! :P

OK, it’s a very conversion of the Technoir set (one of my favs in JJ2), altough some tiles are missing, others are made the wrong way, bla bla bla…But it’s good enough to make a decent level with it. :) I didn’t rate the example, because the version of WinZip that i have cuts names short. You can guess the result ;)

Conclusion: Good JJ1 tilesets are rare, especially of the first…18 planets. :) Worth a 7 at first, boosted to 7.2

Very nice tileset! All though it’s hard to use, you can make a very good level if you really put a lot of effort into it.
