After I played Jaws’ Harry Potter Levels I got inspired by it.
And since I’ve got the Harry Potter Games, I decided to try to make a HP-tileset myself.
-I know the perspective doesn’t make sence at all.
It all is one big bunch of different views, but despite all that, you won’t see it when you’re just playing.
The file contains one Tileset, with one example level and a music file, With all credits for this music to Violet CLM’s Hocus Pocus set.
The tileset consists of Hogwarts Castle with three different sections (main castle, hallway and dungeons).
Nice job! I have to say that the tileset looks really hard to use, but yeah, you can get a great end result with it.
The graphics are ripped from the game, (as far as I can tell) but it manages to look like it has some sort of order, which is good (especially when dealing with these angles). I think that must have been pretty hard.
Overall, a good tileset, but you should only get it if you’re willing to take the time to get things right.
Good job!
(NOTE: You should rename the level so JJ2 can understand it.)
What the heck…
7.5?
Look at the masking. This was probley copied from the video game. This does NOT deserver a 7.5.
More like a 5.2 or something in my opinion.
Good Tileset,but:
1) I don’t know where is Layer 8
2)When i open the level i get Accsess Violations. Why?
Well eh, FOX282;
There isn’t a layer eight, since everything is allready on a background, so a background has no function here…
And I wouldn’t know something about that ‘acces violation’. It must work, so the files aren’t the problem ;)
