Whoo. Not a that original stroy, but the levels are great. They use a hard-to-use-jj1-not-masked-tilesets, and the tileset is used very great. I like the first level more than the second level. The first level has superb eyecandy, IMO, and the event placement is great. It has some (mostly trigger crate) puzzles and some evil enemys. Maybe there are too much of them The second level is mostly underwater. There are again some trigger puzzles, and some evil enemys. The eyecandy is not as good as the first level, but average. The second level should have a end boss or something, IMO, but that’s just my opinion. It’s a new and cool idea to create an extra level which you acn acces with a password what you can find in the level. I didn’t found the password, so I can’t review the battle level. The music in the first level fits OK, but i prefer some custom music file. The music in the second level fits perfect.

Conclusion: This is a not so big, but great level pack, with a fat downlaod recommendation from me. 8.0! Maybe the rating is too high, but I decide the rating :p

Very cool. Passwording can get you into trouble ( i forgot a password once), but if it’s in the level, it’s kinda hard to forget…

I agree, the first lev is better.

Some good levels, a bit short and some minor bugs.

It is worth a download.

Wow, i’m impressed! “Future Apocalypse” is a spiffy new single player level pack using Haze’s large, awesome “Jazz1: NeW’s Mayham” mixture tileset. The idea to choose this tileset is already worth one extra point!

The design is just great, maybe it’s a tad too easy sometimes (crates are easy to find, enemies easy to kill). The layer work is very eye-catching. Great work!

As the background music for the second level, Splash included Skaven/FC’s breathtaking “Ice Frontier”, which is a legendary demo tune of the early nineties (sigh). It fits perfect, as Flash mentioned correctly :-)

However, i’m in the mood to reward Splash with eight(!) points (sunstroke probably, i’m not used to these temperatures ;-). The “Future Apocalypse” is a MUST DOWNLOAD!

P.S.:
The passworded battle level seems to be a nice idea, but somehow i didn’t find the secret word yet :-)[This review has been edited by Aiko]

The first level is cool. Good looking, nicely designed, great music, etc…
The water in the second level was so weird that it was hard to see the level. That made the level a bit less fun. Besides that, though, the level was pretty good.

Oh, excuse me SPLASH. I live almost nextdoor, so nice in real but being jerky here. Big mouth online, small mouth for real… Just told me that way in real life instead of asking it miserable.
Cos of your “friendly” way of asking, I’ll change it…[This review has been edited by $TÛNT$]

Well, I liked mostly the use of tileset. Also the balance of goodies and baddies were good. 8.0 is good for this pack I think :-)

The tielset use and eyecandy in the first level was AMAZING. It was so ****ing cool! The lenght of the level, was to short. I notice this in most of your levels splash, they are just to short. Anyways, enemy placement was avr. and goodie placement was maybe a bit below avrage.

Second level. Water kinda looked crappy here, and hard to see. Backround was boring, and eyecandy not to intense. Overall: First level=9, second level=6.5
Toatal: about 7.7

well here is my review!!!

Eyecandy:
Basic!!! The eyecandy was not really good but also not bad. There where some tilebugs.

Enemy placement:
Okay!!! It was not really great but bad no. There are a lot of enemies but not to much.

Item placement:
Fine!!! There is one type of ammo with a powerup and a lot of food.

Other:
Okay!!! i didn`t had the problem with that water because i play on 16 bit.
threre is a lot to do but it could be better.
Here a 7
