Description

This is a mini level pack, with elements of Sonic the Hedgehog! This is the rebuilded version of Jackrabbit Wars by Banjo-Kazooie! Jackrabbit Wars was one of the first level packs in Jazz2city! (But the original version of SJW is very short and not too good!)
Now there were easi, normal & hard mode!

yay single player!
i dont know what the original Jazz Wars was but this little pack is quite nice..

it contains 6 playable levels, all pretty funny to play. too bad it didnt feature some big puzzles and i was up for the usual running and shooting ;)
i liked the levels created with the MEZ tilesets the best – man nice!

some lvls could have used a bit more stuff in it, as well as some explanation (i didnt really get the plot- first something with freedom fighters, then an emerald, then a bomb :|?)
music was pretty nice, although i could have thought of some better ones that would fit better..but hey still nice

6.7..no wait..lets give it a 7
i really enjoyed it :)

yeah, I like this pack.
Good tilesets, nice music, good eyecandy.
only tha third lvl is a little bit too dark…and I hate shields. But they are pretty nice.

7.2 points from me, and download recommendation.

“Super Jackrabbit Wars” is cool single player pack including six brand new levels using four (well actually only two) different custom tilesets (MEZ01 [three levels], Moebius [three levels], lasttest3 [not really] and marine? [ditto]). Not to forget four great custom music files: “ALLIANCE” by DRAX, song11.s3m from Jazz1, Deadlock by Elwood and the (not-so) funky “Titus the fox” theme (LOL! I remember that game! :-).

The levels themselves really rock, i esspecially like the MEZ01 maps and the “Doomsday” level. The design is very good in all six levels, and it’s big fun to play and blast the enemies. Eyecandy is also okay (nothing super special though). The difficulty level is just right i think. Music fits good in most levels. Otherwise, what Splash said :-)

Definitely WORTH THE DOWNLOAD and about 15 minutes of pure single player fun!

This gets an 8 for me!It really rocked!Unfortunatly though I did not have some of the music files because i have 1.22 version of jj2.But that did not really matter to me.Like Aiko said “About 15 min. of pure single player fun“I think you should do more like this in the future tazar.

DOWNLOAD THIS!!!!!

Ok i am back to edit it.I now have 1.23 so i can play the music. And ya know?the funny thing is,It doesn’t rock anymore.IT RULEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!

(i am also changing the rating he used perfect music on each one.)[This review has been edited by Zieg]

You Should Play This.

Some great ideas mixed with good old Jazzy gameplay makes this a truly excellent series of levels.

Some of the levels are of mediocre quality, others are of poor quality. Some good marks there, nets a respectable 4.5.

Different story for the tilesets. Man, those tilesets are HORRID. Thank God that Tazar made the “Mario/Sonic Megamix” tileset.

This would get a 5.5 if the levels were not passworded. The passwording knocks a good ~20% off the final rating.

The only thing I really enjoyed from this pack is the song “Deadlock”.

[Please rate levels for what they are, not if they’re passworded or not. ~cooba]
