Castle1 used as a demostration of the modification in its tileset. All colors in the palette were switched to gray scale.
It is recomended to change to 8bit color depht in game options to avoid some errors, like the blue freezer, or aqua shield.
This takes time, no skill, no creativity, nothing.
This takes max 5 minutes to be exact. Kind of worthless..
I am sorry but I dont see the point in doing this and upoading it.
Maybe conversion takes 5 minutes, but anyone didn’t convert it yet.
I think it is not bad idea.If you want black and white castle, then download it.
Unless you want to see what JJ2 would look like in the 1950’s then I really can’t see any use for this.
I think it’s… useful. Yes useful.
But could add new tiles…
You could use it as an artistic effect, like a flashback, but then I would use a B&W of some other tileset instead… Like said, this didn’t take much effort at all…
Possible uses? Lemme see… flashbacks, flashbacks, flashbacks, an old movie-like ambient level… Did I already say flashbacks?
Good concept , but it would have been more appealing by making a proper example level, with text strings and everything. I see this as a showcase for an idea but still…
Good idea, but poorly executed. DR: Nah.
