This level uses the Lost World tileset and the location is an abandonned office building in the middle of the Site-B jungle.
I really like "LW, the battle 2" because everything in it is selfmade. The level, the tileset
and even the "sampled drum" music. Well the sound is not really brilliant, but it fits pretty good for the tileset and level.
Besides, design and eyecandy in the level are very good. To sum it up: you should download this pack! Very good work, Ninja Dodo.
Ninja Dodo, you used background layers really nicely. I love the water falls and dinosaurs and other stuff there!
But level is a little bit too large. Weapon placement is strange, somewhere is too much, somewhere there is no weapons at all. I think that water is bad idea in battle level…
Personally, I think battling in water can be very amusing.
The weapon placement has been carefully thought out. You don’t need more weapons if you’re already carying 50 ammo of all of them. And the weapon placements has been made so that on an average run through the level you end up with roughly the same ammo for every weapon.
Hm, with every level I’ve made so far, reviewers complained that they were too small. So I made this level large…[This review has been edited by Ninja Dodo]
This is a pretty cool level. The tileset is very coolish, and the level uses it just right. I agree with Ninja Dodo that batling under water is pretty cool. Download this level and tileset now guys![This review has been edited by >CelL<]
It’s not easy to use the Lost World tileset, but I’ve still always liked it. This is a pretty darn good level, though. The flow is fairly good, and weapon placement is as well. Eyecandy is unsurprisingly excellent, and there were few glitches. I got stuck once or twice, but not enough to downgrade this. I didn’t notice many tileset use errors, which of course is likely because the level maker built the tileset, but it’s still nice to see. This is definitely worth a download recommendation. Very nice job.
