he means the dos prompt thing. You have to type in DOS commands to be able to do things, and with it, it is possible to have two jj2 windows open.

You don't. Specifying a character from the command line is only supported in 1.24.

That's what I thought, but I was hoping there was some way I didn't know about. Thanks for knowing what I was talking about.

Really? But how?

Captian Cook manages to let people play as Spaz on 1.23 without the hassle of going through the JJ2 menu, but I'm not sure how it works.

<And R3ptile, you have to use -server, but you didn't hear it from me.>

I don't quiet understand why you do not use the normal menu system thing.

It takes 10 seconds at highest.

I don't quiet understand why you do not use the normal menu system thing.Maybe because he wants to make a .bat launcher where you can choose character?

The normal menu system? The only ways to access custom levels from the normal menu system are through episodes and home cooked levels. The vast majority of levels do not have a .j2e file pointing to them, and my home cooked levels list has been full since 2001.
Cooba: Close, yes.
Blur: Does it! Huh. I'll try to find the author.

Well, ok, that's two reasons. ^^;;;;

Anyways, deleting useless levels would fix the problem (come on, you don't need all those do you?).

(come on, you don't need all those do you?).If he didn't, he would delete them already, wouldn't he?

I've been downloading LOTS of levels since.. about 4 years (I've been on the forums for only 1 but playing JJ2 since it came out) and my HCList never got full.

But it's not my decision.

Just tried... no, it gives you the option, but you still play as Jazz. Oh well.

Odd... It works fine for me. Anyone else having the same problem?

Edit: Just noticed that there's v1.2, which has been there for a while. J2O really needs a place that lists updated downloads. Everything seems to work the same as in v1.1 as far as I can tell.

(Click here (http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=3316) if, for whatever reason, you don't have Captain Cook v1.2 already.)
