Bucky, GameSpy, in layman's terms, is a really big network.

If they they decide to support JJ2 in the future, one of the possibilties is that more people will play JJ2 because of the exposure.

Theyre gonna suport us. That mean thell have some strategys, maybe a walkthru... stuff like that. Then people might look at it and consider it. (who dont already have it)

Doc tried once with loricentral but they just handed him a sub-url on actionplanet.com... :\

And besides http://www.planetjackrabbit.com/ is easier to remember and type. http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I hope Gamespy adds Jazz Jackrabbit 2 to the big list of games you can join http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Man, Jazz2 could be famous again... or tries. I hope to see players with names I never saw before.

Could you be more specific? I thought gamespy wanted fans to make the sites themselves. Are you thinking of adding a jj2 site, hosted on gamespy? Or adding j2o there?

"Don't rush them, treat them like a girl you got the hots on ;D" - Nitro

LOL, that's one of the best quotes I've heard in a long time...

Can anyone say PlanetJazzJackrabbit?

[EDIT: I'm all for being on the PJ (heheh) crew, if there will be one...]

And besides, you said MIGHT, that doesn't mean they WILL.

I hate to be a downer, but JJ2's chances of being a Planet site aren't very good.. GS only lets successful games with a large community and good site directors that update often and such to be a Planet site. Even then, the design is completely redone by GameSpy to look like the game itself. So "J2O II" wouldn't look like J2O at all. Plus there's the issues that GS doesn't allow PHP directly on a Planet domain, etc.. Beyond this, GS supporting JJ2 is a good sign. I hope for the best..

From the deranged history of GameSpy... well, not quite... :

J2o needs a redesign anyways.

But I am okay with it, kinda, if someone makes the next generation jj2 site on gamespy..

Honestly, I never thought the chances were that great either but that doesn't make it any less cool! Heh, heh heh...

(And yes, perhaps my 56k modem's wrath can be unleashed to it's full potential on new servers, so watch out kiddies)
