There is also a bug, not very common from my knoledge but I get it once and a while from what I think is a result of lag.
I warp around incontrollably and sometimes there are lots of clones of me in the background behind me and it warps me into walls sometimes also.

This happens when you get an Error During Download because you press a key to quickly when the game ends or the level is changed before you can download it after it changed for a first time. You will warp around randomly, usually with the lag clone (because of the way JJ2 handels player placement in memory). Kicking the lag clone or waiting for them to leave is the only way to stop this from happening.
